Our old system was completely shot. We weren't sure what the problem was but Gary came to our home on short notice, diagnosed the problem accurately and quickly and gave us a cost estimate with a repair date that was very quick as well. They arrived to do the repair, cleared the area needed for the work, removed the old tank and replaced it with a modern one, pulled the entire well pipe and pump which obviously was in terrible condition. They then installed a top line pump and new pipe. The new system worked flawlessly and provides pressure that we have not enjoyed in years. We are incredibly grateful to the work the crew put into completing our repair and replacement. They worked long hours and were cheerful and well-mannered through all of it.? We noticed we were getting blue/green water stains in our white fiberglass tub and read online that our well water may have low ph levels.  After reading that low ph levels would erode copper pipes we called Gary at Flow Water Systems (based on his reviews thru Angie's list).  Gary spent 15-20 minutes on the phone with me asking questions about our experiences with the water quality since we moved into the house.  Gary then scheduled a visit to our house to test the water.  Within 48 hours he tested the water and the results confirmed we needed a filtration system.  In addition to low ph we also had slightly elevated levels of iron.  Gary recommended a filtration system that would suit us based on our needs.  We agreed to hire Gary and he installed the new system within 48 hours of the quote.  After the system was installed, we immediately noticed a difference in the taste of the water - the metallic taste was gone.
Over the course of the next week there was no staining in the tub. Gary came back to test the water quality (which he does with all of his jobs) and the ph was increased from the original level of 6 to 8.  He explained that any ph reading above a 7 is good.  We mentioned that our water pressure to the house seemed reduced since the filter was installed and Gary checked the water flow at several outdoor faucets and inside the house.  After taking pressure readings he said we had a blockage on the waterline running to the house.  Within minutes Gary located the old pressure regulator, replaced it and restored full water pressure to the house.  When I tried to pay him for replacing the 50 year old valve he said "don't worry about it - I was already here checking the ph levels in the water".
Gary was professional, prompt and courteous.  When I look for a contractor what I look for is someone who is fair and someone who knows what he is doing (an expert in their field).  Gary is both!  Highly recommend Water Flow Systems!!!

I live in the farthest northeast corner of Greenville County as you can get and just getting someone to respond to a need related to the home is a challenge. When we began to experience problems with our well I came across Gary Trotter and Water Flow Systems on Angies list and reached out to him. He responded within an hour of my call. Gary is a pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable, reliable and professional. He came out with his assistant Hickory Nut and after a diagnosis pulled the pump, which was 500 feet down, and found that it had failed. He also found that when the pump was installed incorrect parts were used likely leading to my current problem. He replaced the pump and all wiring and the water was flowing again same day. Gary is your man for any well related issues. I highly recommend him.

Gary is very experienced in water systems and was able to diagnose the problem within a few minutes, provide a written estimate for the repairs, and, upon approval, immediately made the necessary repairs.

We were losing water pressure in our house and the ground around our well was very wet. Gary came the day after we called him and inspected all the parts of our water system. They had all of the parts and equipment to repair the leaking pipe and to replace the water tank and valve. He explained everything they were doing and wanted to make sure we were happy with the results before they left. We highly recommend Gary and his crew for water system repairs.

On a Saturday when many other workmen would be resting, Gary of Water Systems Inc. came quickly to our rescue. He, by digging, exposed our problem and professionally repaired the problem in a workman like manner to include regrading and replacing our grass sod.
Additionally, Gary gave us advice and materials to assist in reducing our costs in the future. And Gary followed up in a few days with a phone call to assure that we were still enjoying the benefits of a great repair job.
We will definitely use his service again, and we recommend Gary without reservation.

I contacted Gary, with Water Flow Systems, when I lost all water pressure to our house. I was by no means an expert, but Gary initially helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. He spent around a half hour on the phone discussing / troubleshooting the issue on a Friday evening. After I couldn't solve the issue, he came out to our home and within a short period of time he was able to diagnose the problem and provided an estimate the same day. The cost included a 1hp well pump, pressure tank, and pressure switch. They came out on the day requested (day after Thanksgiving) and completed the replacement / repair within about 5 hours. Gary was very professional, upfront, and honest. He provided some good tips and practices to monitor performance. One week following the repair, Gary contacted us to make sure everything was working efficiently and properly. I would recommend utilizing Water Flow Systems because I will in the future.

We have a well, The water pressure and duration of use had been decreasing. I was dreading being told that we needed to drill a new well. Gary came out the day after I called him. He described everything he was doing and replaced only what needed replacing. I was very impressed by his professional manner, but at the same time, he explained what he was doing in layman's terms. Within 5 minutes of him arriving I knew he knew what he was doing and what he was talking about. I found him when I dialed a wrong number. The man I was speaking with recommended Water Flow and I'm glad I found him. I had no water at all and this company assisted me quickly and efficiently. They arrived at 1:00 and stayed on the job until complete. They cleaned up nicely and took care of everything just fine.

The system was installed about a year ago and I have not encountered any problems with it so far. I do have another system that was installed by another company and personally I feel these guys are ay better. The price was better the people and the whole installation process went smoother. I am very satisfied and would definitely hire them again.
