"They installed a furnace in Dec. 2015 for us. Some issues arose 2017 New Years Eve with temps in teens. Called at 8 am & a tech arrived by 9:30. Ended up not being a simple fix to the underlying issue but will say Jamie & his entire crew went well beyond what could be reasonably expected to rectify the problem. From the employees, to managers to the owner you will not find a more professional, polite, customer service oriented company. Issues arise in every profession no matter how reputable your company. How those issues are resolved defines any company. Have learned from firsthand experience that Easy Air provides great work at a fair price but also if something goes wrong after the fact Easy Air will spare no effort in fully rectifying the situation. Shared my issue at work & with friends and the singular response is so rare to find a company these days who stands unflinchingly behind their work. There is no such thing as a company that never makes a mistake. What distinguishes/defines companies is their response when it happens. At 45, I've never used nor heard of a company/owner who so unequivocally backs their work. I not only have & do strongly recommend them I personally will exclusively use them for all future HVAC & furnace matters."

"Friendly, knowledgeable people. Fast response. Competitive price. Same day service. Excellent installation, better than original. Ethical Plumbing was recommended by a coworker (Harold D.) and they have great reviews on Angie's List so I chose them for this job. Perfectly satisfied with the project and I highly recommend them."

Small jobs welcome

"Arrive when expected. Replaced defective pressure relief value and a section of Shark-bite from last install. Tested for pressure and leaks - everything was good. Had them give me an estimate for replacing old copper water pipes thru-out the house. Great employees and fair pricing. I recommend them and will use again."

"Ogre and Above Plumbing was simply wonderful!! They were the first ones to call me and everyone I dealt with was absolutely wonderful and professional and helpful!! Sage the Master Plumber was particularly wonderful!! He found the problem instantly and provided a very reasonable estimate! He helped me today immensely by cleaning and replacing drainpipes to help with the problem until the major work can be completed due to my financial situation. I am so incredibly grateful to him and everyone! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Sage!!"

"Water pressure was too high causing an awful noise when toilets flushed and faucets running. Called Angi's list t I find a plumber for an estimate. 5 choices came up. Johnson Brothers was the first on the list. Called and Jacob responded immediately. He was able to come over, access the issue and repair all in the same day. Some sort of pressure valve was needed. Jacob explained every step, as if he were a surgeon explaining the procedure. He checked for leaks, there were none. Finished the procedure and no more awful noise. Plumbing issue solved all in a few hours. Very professional I every way. Highly recommend as far as work done right. Price was reasonable I suppose. But worth the no worry mentality."

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to install a sewage ejector pump outside rather than in a basement. However, there may be some extra steps involved, including running pipes from the inside to the outside of your home and digging (and re-filling) a hole for the basin. If you aren’t comfortable with this type of work, contact a plumbing pro to handle it for you.

3/4 HP is stronger than 1/2 HP. Horsepower measures how much weight can be moved and how fast, or the power needed to move 550 pounds one foot in one second. 1 HP equals 550 foot-pounds per second, so the higher the horsepower, the heavier the load it can lift. While 1/2 HP is a standard, powerful option, 3/4 HP has the extra strength to handle heavier, larger doors with ease.

Yes, many modern water pumps are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Look for pumps with high efficiency ratings or those with an Energy Star certification. These pumps consume less power and can reduce your utility bills. Additionally, variable-speed pumps are more efficient since they can adjust the flow based on demand, providing significant savings over time.

The difference between an ejector pump and a sump pump lies in their purpose and design—an ejector pump functions to remove liquid gray water and soft solid sewage waste from your home. If you have a laundry room or bathroom in your basement, an ejector pump for your sewage tank prevents sewage from backing up in your washing machine or bathroom’s drains.

A sump pump is designed to remove excess groundwater that may enter your home, either due to flooding or periods of heavy rain.

There are several things you can do to maintain your sump pump and prevent sump pump problems. For instance, keeping a lid on your sump pit goes a long way in protecting your pump system from silt, sand, dirt, and other debris. When water drains from the outside, such as along your foundation, or with melting snow, water runoff often brings sediment with it.

Also be wary of corrosion, particularly if your sump pump system is made of metal. Keep an eye out for rust and have it inspected regularly by a plumber or sump pump technician.
