"Fence installed by Mr. Sizemore alone. He had no crew. Said we did not need survey - having to survey again because new tenants in the new house next to our property line saying fence on their property (in some places) but no problem with them?!?. Lot of left over fencing and cement which we paid for but gave to Mr. Sizemore to move from our property. Plat of fencing and plat of cement left and approximately 20 bags of cement was rained on. Fence not installed the length we paid for so we lost money!!!!!! He was to do another project for us to replace wood under carport which we paid him an additional 600.00 to do and he used old vinyl siding already there saying he did not know anything about siding. He supposedly replace the top with the right boards? Used stain he had left over from another project which was not the color we were supposed to have because he said the heat ruined left over stain from the fencing. Now the siding trim is falling down - not a professional job at all. He is a good person but needs help with his business. Said he was trying to get help but no one wants to work!! He did a professional job with the fencing that he did install but we lost money!!! If on neighbor’s property, fencing will have to be removed!!! A potential issue Nightmare!!!"

"B&B did an absolutely fantastic job on my privacy fence at my home. Communication was clear, they showed up on time, and completed the work in a timely manner. I will be hiring them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone!"

"After numerous bids from Angie List providers, this company was by far the most reasonable of all.  The work was done with
professionalism and in a timely manner.  Even with all the rain, this company installed ahead of projected start date.
The quality of work was excellent. These people know what they are doing.  Gates are built right on the spot rather than pre cut ones.  I can't say enough.  The crew was excellent, management extremely cooperative and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future.

"Getting our new house painted was the first step into making it our home. Luke was very quick to respond when we reached out. We had a couple delays on our end and he was very accommodating. He got the work done in a timely manner. He takes directions very well, he’s professional, clean and on time. He made sure we were satisfied with everything throughout the process. I couldn’t be happier with the work that was done!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Quality fencing in Simpsonville is shown by evenly spaced, plumb posts set deep in concrete, smooth and level panels, and secure gates with reliable hardware. Proper drainage around the fence line, sealed wood ends, and rust-resistant fasteners are key signs of professional work. Compliance with local height and setback rules, along with clear documentation like permits and warranties, further indicate a job well done.

Helpful?

Installing a new fence in Simpsonville can enhance your home’s value and attract buyers, particularly when using durable, low-maintenance materials. Privacy and pool fencing are highly sought after, especially in family-friendly neighborhoods. Clearly marked property boundaries and compliance with HOA guidelines are important for resale, and buyers often appreciate fences that blend with the area’s established styles.

Helpful?

In Simpsonville, homeowners often favor privacy fencing with horizontal wood slats for a contemporary look, especially in neighborhoods with smaller lots. Black aluminum fencing is popular around pools, while mixed-material fences—like stone columns paired with wood panels—add curb appeal. Many local HOAs require uniform fence heights and styles, and automated gates are increasingly chosen for added convenience and security.

Helpful?

The timeline for fence installation in Simpsonville depends on project size, material availability, and terrain. Simple repairs or short runs of fencing on level ground may be finished in one day. Larger projects, custom designs, or installations on sloped or clay-rich soil often need multiple visits. Weather patterns, permit processing, and concrete curing times—especially during humid SC summers—can also affect completion.

Helpful?

In Simpsonville, unexpected costs for fence installation can include property surveys if boundaries are unclear, permit fees, and utility marking services. Clay-heavy soil in the area may require special equipment or deeper post setting. Tree or shrub removal, grading for sloped lots, and adjustments for drainage—especially after heavy summer rains—can also add to project complexity, so it’s smart to plan for these local factors.
