"Please read this before you call anyone else. Aaron with Ocean Air not only saved the day but saved me hundreds of dollars. I had an issue on Saturday night that another company (Coastline Heating) came out to diagnose on a Saturday evening late, which I appreciated. Although the tech basically walked up to the unit, touched where the fan motor was and noticed it was hot and said "you have a bad fan motor" with no more diagnostics. I thought that was a little bit odd. They said they didn't have the part on the truck and had to order it and offered us a window unit which was very nice. As soon as we woke up the next morning I was on the hunt to find someone to come to put a second set of eyes on this and I found Erin. He answered my call on a Sunday at 12:45pm and I told him the situation. He said he had the part on his truck in case that was it and came over to take a look. It in fact was NOT the fan motor but a capacitor that was faulty. It look him about 5 minutes to figure that out with his testing. He replaced the capacitor and we're off to the races with cold air. He explained everything to me thoroughly and I watched him do the work. I can't explain how much this helped my family out because I have a 8 mo old that had to sleep in heat because the other company didn't do their job correctly.
