"Daniel, their electrician has helped us before. He arrived promptly and after discussing with us our issues went directly to work addressing our problem. He successfully completed his work to our satisfaction, discussed the repairs , and was on his way to his next appointment in a very timely manner. We are extremely satisfied with his work in particular and Mr Sparky in general in addressing our needs. Reliability and competence seem to be their hallmark."

"Swift by name, and definitely by nature! At first, I thought “Swift” was just their last name—but it’s also the perfect description of their service. Scheduling was a breeze. They could’ve come out the same day, but since it was rainy and not too hot, I chose the first appointment the next morning. I received a text with my technician’s photo and a call about 30 minutes before arrival—great communication! EJ, my technician, was kind, professional, and very respectful of my not-yet-settled, slightly messy home. He was well-spoken, got right to work after a brief friendly chat, and checked both the inside and outside components of the system. Believe it or not, he didn’t find anything wrong. He mentioned it could be an intermittent issue, but rather than guessing or upselling me on unnecessary repairs, he was honest and transparent. That kind of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated—especially in a specialized service industry. Tom, who was with EJ, handled the sales side but was equally knowledgeable. He patiently answered my (many) questions and explained what could be going on with the system. He also introduced me to their Comfort Club, which is genuinely a great value. For $199/year, they service your HVAC twice, waive all diagnostic fees (no limits), and give you 20% off repairs. Plus, their regular service fee is only $49—lower than most I've seen. Since my house tends to get warm in the evenings, they showed me what to check and encouraged me to call when it happens again. I hesitated at the thought of after-hours fees, but Tom said, “Join the club, and there won’t be a fee.” Simple and smart. I wholeheartedly recommend Swift Services. I'd gladly refer them to single moms, college students, or anyone who may feel unsure or overwhelmed when facing appliance issues. No pressure, no scare tactics—just trustworthy, efficient service. Exactly what you want when you're letting someone into your home. UPDATE: At 6pm i called because the AC was frozen (I thought.) EJ took the call, instead of the regular On Call Tech. He drove 40 minutes (I know this because the have a cool tracker) to come to my house. The AC was fine, again. I asked about a box on the side of the unit. Long story short, the previous homeowners had the power company put a Demand Restrictor on the unit which is limiting electricity to my AC and causing my sleepless nights. That'll be rectified ASAP, by the power company. "No Charge," said EJ."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Mullins, habits like running dehumidifiers without cleaning filters, overusing extension cords, and leaving electronics plugged in during storms can wear down your electrical system. Overloading circuits with portable AC units in summer and not sealing outdoor outlets against moisture also cause issues. Regularly checking for signs of corrosion and trimming trees near lines helps protect your home’s electrical work from Mullins’ weather.

Helpful?

Upgrading electrical systems in Mullins can make your home safer and more comfortable. Enhanced panels support multiple cooling units, crucial for humid summers. Whole-home surge protection shields electronics from local lightning. Adding GFCI outlets and generator hookups boosts safety during storms. Installing ceiling fans and smart thermostats helps manage energy use and keeps your Mullins home cool and efficient year-round.

Helpful?

When planning electrical projects in Mullins, consider hurricane readiness—generator hookups and elevated wiring are smart choices. The area’s sandy soil affects grounding, so proper installation is key. Frequent storms mean surge protection and tree maintenance are important. Flood-prone zones benefit from raised outlets. Most electrical work in SC requires permits and inspections, and rural contractor availability may affect scheduling, so plan ahead.

Helpful?

In Mullins, you can safely reset tripped GFCI outlets, replace bulbs, or swap out light fixtures with identical wattage after shutting off the breaker. Always check for dampness before starting, especially in crawl spaces or basements. Avoid any work during thunderstorms. For outdoor wiring, panel upgrades, or complex repairs, it’s best to contact a local expert familiar with Mullins’ unique weather and soil conditions.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Mullins, prioritize moisture-resistant wiring like THWN-2 and use PVC or galvanized steel conduit to guard against humidity and corrosion. Install GFCI outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas to address local storm risks. Surge protectors are also important due to frequent lightning. Using weatherproof boxes and rust-resistant fasteners helps ensure your electrical system stands up to Mullins’ climate.
