"Very prompt in coming out and measuring and letting us pick out what we wanted. They couldn't do the floor, only around the tub and in the shower. They would not remove the old tile (which was in excellent condition, just outdated) wanted to use the acrylic and cover it up! I didn't like that idea and also didn't like the look. The price was outrageous, wanted over $12,000 just to cover up. I found a tile guy who did both bathrooms (removed the old tile down to the studs) including floors, with rich, durable porcelain tile. He also installed insert boxes in both and a seat in the shower. We did both bathrooms from top to bottom including replacing fixtures, sinks, cabinet tops, commodes, etc. for $2,000 LESS. Yes, it did take longer but the finish product is no comparison. I would not recommend this company, it pays to shop around!"

"Tuck&Howell technicians responded quickly to my call about a non-working home AC. The technician diagnosed a blown compressor and since our system was 20 years old recommended AC replacement. We researched and decided to replace both the AC and gas furnace to maximize efficiency. The system was diagnosed on Monday, parts ordered by Wednesday, and new system installed Friday morning - just ahead of a heat wave. (We are priority plus plan members at Tuck&Howell and that may have given us some priority - I recommend their priority plus plan service as well, which we've had for some 15 years or so.) The installation went smoothly and the new system is working great. Be sure to ask for a new thermostat, if needed, when you get a new system installed since it may or may not be included by default. We asked and it was provided. Our unit was a Carrier 3-ton, 14-seer unit with AC and gas furnace."

Home Advisor had recommended Ace Plumbing LLC, so I called them. The owner came out to look at the job and give me an estimate. I also had another company give me an estimate, and it was twice as high as the one given by Ace. Heath came out to do the work with the owner's son assisting. It was discovered that the sink in the bathroom was rusted, so they went to get the one we decided on from the internet website. They installed that and both faucets in a reasonable amount of time. Both men were very pleasant and professional and did an excellent job. I will certainly hire them again the next time I have a plumbing issue due to their great work as well as the very reasonable price I was charged. I would not hesitate at all in recommending them to others."
