This company is amazing. The quote was fair. The two workers in charge of our project were on time, they explained everything in detail, they did an excellent job and were clean and efficient. Dipple plumbing is way over priced and they know it. I found a leak and called them out to repair it. They told me what they would do to fix it which my best guess would be $50 material and less than an hour of repair time. My assumption, including the dispatch fee which was already covered under the CAP, I’d pay under or around $200. Come do find out they want $750. They will stand by this number as a quoted by “the book.” I don’t know who they trick into paying that much but they are incredibly overpriced. When I asked if I could talk them down I was told to call the manager or the owner directly. Apparently this was a hard stance and they don’t even know what work is being done. They see a truck dispatched and a job is expected to earn xxx so that is what’s quoted. My plumber was very nice and happy to explain things to me. It is unfortunate that they have to deal with horrible management and pricing. I had hope for doing future business with this company as the HVAC team was more than reasonable to work with. Would not recommend, there are other local businesses that I’d rather support.

Overall great experience. They came out on a holiday to determine the problem. Our technicians, Marius and Drew, were very professional and knowledgeable about the products they were installing. It took back-to-back days of hard work to get us fixed but they did a great job and took time to follow up the next day to make sure we were able to set up our thermostats with the app. I have been happy with Dipple in the past and will continue to use them. I'll also probably request Marius and Drew again.

Ryan came out and inspected our HVAC since we had trouble cooling the upstairs. He said the biggest problem was the duct work, suggesting that needed to be replaced. We decided to have our entire HVAC system replaced since the current system was 9 years old and of a low end system. Marius and Drew came out to replace the system. Considering they started on the 2 hottest days of the week, they did a great job installing the new system and reworking the ducting in the attic. They provided updates on their progress and what they were doing. They were very personable and cared about the quality of work they provided. Thanks to Marius and Drew!!

The scheduling and promptness were spot on. The technician clearly knew what he was doing. He properly diagnosed the problem which was a defective TXV valve, a common problem on heat pumps. He quoted me $1585 on the repair, which intuitively felt steep. He said the part would take a couple of days to arrive. So after he left, I did some googling and called another local repair shop with a blind quote request (ie. I didn't tell them I had another quote. Just asked what it would cost to replace a TXV valve on my particular air handler model / serial number). The quote came back at $575. Yes, over a $1000 cheaper. I called Dipple back and spoke to the tech who quoted the $1585 price to ask for clarification. His response was "well, we quote our work on a fixed fee basis and that's the price for a TXV repair". I obviously declined the quote, called the other company back, and had the repair satisfactorily completed for $1000 cheaper. Just do your homework and never accept the first quote. I paid the Dipple guys their $180 trip and diagnostic fee and moved on.

Dipple Plumbing has been in business in the Upstate since 1979, employes 40+ families, fully licensed by the SC LLR, covered by a large insurance umbrella, and are extremely focused on hiring the best technicians to bring into our clients' homes. New companies are popping up everyday, owned by unlicensed and uninsured individuals and it usually doesn't take very long for them to realize the true cost of doing business and subsequently go out of business. We are not saying that is who you used, however we see it everyday. I am sorry that our pricing structure doesn't meet your needs."

Ultimately, the problem was fixed and the unit is functioning again as it should. It took a couple of trips, replacing / repairing a new item each time, but in the end the problem was resolved. They were very responsive, timely, friendly, and good workmanship. I would not hesitate to contact them again.

A team from Dipple Plumbing was able to do the work on the same day I called. Their truck contained all the tools, replacement parts, and pipes needed to finish the job. The plumbers were polite, professional, and cleaned up the work area in the kitchen afterwards. I would gladly call them again for any future plumbing work.

Excellent. These guys are very professional. They explained all the problems and had me see them (bad wiring and extensive roots in pipes). They paid attention to the smallest details (for example, putting down new grass seed) in areas they had to dig up. They explained everything and were available for questions. They were pleasant, professional and respectful. I highly recommend them!

Craig greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I appreciated his phone call stating the time he would arrive. He removed leaves from inside my outside units, checked freon pressure, and replaced two capacitors. He checked the blower fans on both units for dust buildup and both thermostats. Filters were good. Craig inspected my water heater, but decided to let the plumber check it further. We discussed a service agreement and I signed it. Work was top of the line... Very professional, and thorough.
