Huge thanks to Tuck & Howell Plumbing, Heating & Air for taking such great care of us! JD came out to inspect and clean our AC, and uncovered a clogged drain line. Now it’s running like a dream—just in time for the summer heat. He was professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. It’s clear this company truly cares about their customers. Highly recommend!

Materials were clearly explained. Timing was as promised. Very professional. Small mixup on which thermostat to tie into, but feel confident this is easily resolved.

Tuck&Howell technicians responded quickly to my call about a non-working home AC. The technician diagnosed a blown compressor and since our system was 20 years old recommended AC replacement. We researched and decided to replace both the AC and gas furnace to maximize efficiency. The system was diagnosed on Monday, parts ordered by Wednesday, and new system installed Friday morning - just ahead of a heat wave. (We are priority plus plan members at Tuck&Howell and that may have given us some priority - I recommend their priority plus plan service as well, which we've had for some 15 years or so.) The installation went smoothly and the new system is working great. Be sure to ask for a new thermostat, if needed, when you get a new system installed since it may or may not be included by default. We asked and it was provided. Our unit was a Carrier 3-ton, 14-seer unit with AC and gas furnace.

Technician was on time and answered all my questions.

Professional team did a high quality job. Creativity and thoughtfulness were applied to my vague initial request to make the work aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.

Tuck & Howell was responsive and timely in both the initial service call and in the repair work. They were cooperative when we had to delay the work multiple times. The repair work was done for half of the estimate we got from another company and we have had no problems since the repair. The workers were professional and considerate.

For price, we looked around a little bit and their price was right in line with everybody else. They showed up when they promised to. It is sometimes hard to get down here in South Carolina. It didn't take more than an hour or so for the work to be completed

They are A all the way and we would highly recommend them.

They have been in business for a couple of years now.  They have been always reliable and they are good guys.  I like that they do good work.  My cooling system has been running well even though it?s 22 years old.  I have a service plan with them and they come twice a year.  They check everything.  They are a great company and I have been dealing with them for the last 15 years.  They show up every year. 

However, they are not the cheap.

The air was out in one of our rental houses and we have used Tuck and Howell in the past for our personal home and always had wonderful experiences. We called them and within the hour they were at our rental house figuring out the problem and it was Sunday we couldn't believe how fast and urgent they were to get there after hours! They were very polite and urgent to find and fix the problem! We were very impressed and would recommend them to anyone who has any HVAC needs or problems!

The crew was efficient and polite.  Have always had a good relationship with Tuck & Howell.  They have been servicing us for 10 years.  I highly recommend them.

They are very established. They are very reliable. They check the pressure in all the pipes and check the freon. They check and change the filters while they are here. Their workers are knowledgeable and polite. They call before they come. They know our house well enough. We have been thoroughly pleased with their service.

I thought our air conditioner was going out, but the technician found our vents just needed clearning and the filter replaced. Last year, another company told us we would have to buy a new AC this year at a cost of about $5,000. The Tuck & Howell technician told us did not need immediate replacement. We only needed some freon, a change of filters, and a cleaning of the vents (which we did ourselves), and the AC is working with no problems now. I am very happy that I decided to get a second opinion on our AC.
