He arrived at the appointed time with Howard ready to install a design of pipe rails that fit the need perfectly without interfering with maintenance that may need to be done. Now we can change our filters easily and is also a safety measure for anyone needing to enter or exit the attic space. They also securely rehung a 35 lb decorative mirror in our dining room without any damage to the wallpapered wall. They were professional, congenial and fair. The honed marble and mosaic trim we selected for our master bath were truly beautiful but not the easiest materials to install.  Each marble tile needed to be separately leveled; and the mosaic was not the same depth as the marble, requiring Joe to build up the surface underlying the trim in order to make it flush with the marble.  The end result was perfect.

Joe offered some great design advice throughout the project, some of which we took, and some of which we later wished we had taken!  We were somewhat inexperienced with remodeling, but Joe was very careful to point out the potential pluses and minuses of our choices so that we felt comfortable making them.

Joe's work on the bathrooms was of such high quality that we immediately talked to him about other, smaller jobs we'd been putting off.  He was very happy to complete the additional work and everything was done beautifully.

"We chose CrawlSpace Medic based on professionalism, reliability, reasonable cost estimate, and previous reviews on Angie’s List. Each day the crew showed up on time, worked hard all day, and cleaned up at end of each day; were respectful of property, and very professional, and pleasant to work with. They kept us informed of progress, and what was being done each day. During removal of old piping, they found additional damage behind the pipes that was not visible/identified during initial inspection- were very reasonable with determining the additional cost. They replaced damaged sills, old rotted floor joists, installed permanent support girders with masonry piers, installed a 10ml plastic vapor barrier, and installed multiple foundation vents. We are very satisfied with the results. Our floors are no longer bouncy, and floors feel very sturdy- was a dramatic difference after work completed. The 10 ml plastic Vapor barrier also has prevented that old damp smell inside the house after heavy rains. Was a good experience, and reasonable cost-(initial estimate $10,400, additional work required and we added foundation vent installation was $3800); would hire again."

"Tuck&Howell technicians responded quickly to my call about a non-working home AC. The technician diagnosed a blown compressor and since our system was 20 years old recommended AC replacement. We researched and decided to replace both the AC and gas furnace to maximize efficiency. The system was diagnosed on Monday, parts ordered by Wednesday, and new system installed Friday morning - just ahead of a heat wave. (We are priority plus plan members at Tuck&Howell and that may have given us some priority - I recommend their priority plus plan service as well, which we've had for some 15 years or so.) The installation went smoothly and the new system is working great. Be sure to ask for a new thermostat, if needed, when you get a new system installed since it may or may not be included by default. We asked and it was provided. Our unit was a Carrier 3-ton, 14-seer unit with AC and gas furnace."
