His crew showed up on time and completed the work that was scheduled for that day. I used most of Rusty suggestions , from the design firm to the cabinet maker. Rusty taught me a lot through this 8 month process of the remodel. When an issue came up( as they often do in a remodel), he always had options to handle the situation. "Poor quality work. Monty and his sons finished our project just over a year ago. We have had problems with every aspect of the work that was done - plumbing, electric, HVAC, cabinets/drawers, flooring, tile, appliance installation. Most recently was a $300 bill to reinstall the garbage disposal that Monty and his sons incorrectly installed. The plumber said he'd never seen such a lazy job done. For the record, I presented Monty a list of issues a year ago and instead of fixing them, he walked out on us. So please think twice before working with this company that claims they are "built on trust and focused on quality.""

"Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!"

"I'm very dissatisfied with this company as a whole. After giving my deposit, I was told they would be to my home on a set date and time. They didn't show up on set date and didn't call or text as to why no one showed up. After calling several times, the next day someone calls apologizing profusely but gave no reason as to why the workers didn't show up. When you finally get them to come, they start the project and then the cat and mouse games begin! They'll call and say they have to finish another project and would be there a little later and then call back because that other project ran longer than expected. It's now 4 months into what I was told would be no more than a week! Calling the company itself about what's going on or complain is absolutely impossible, if someone does answer the phone, they give you the run around. Parts of my electrical was messed up by their worker, I was told that they would take care of it right away. Lies, lies and more lies with this company!"

"This is the second time I have used 1st Source for remodeling. First time was to move wall, create a unique entry way, and improve line of sight in the house. The result was just what I wanted, and unique and pretty stunning. On time and under budget. Latest project was a complete kitchen remodel. Everything was demolished. New kitchen island created with sink, counter and dishwasher (that required cracking concrete and moving plumbing. All new kitchen cabinets, pantry, counters, backsplash, flooring. The project came out perfect. Achieve what I wanted including maximizing space, cabinets, and again, a uniqueness to distinguish my home from others in the neighborhood. All quality products, new appliances, wonderful sub-contractors, CLEAN, exacting, responsive. This major project also came in on-time and under budget, even when additions/changes were made on the fly. Jon is so easy to work with, and collaborative. There is not another professional with whom I would want to do business. You can take advice, and trust that what is being told is to achieve the desired outcome. If one has a project, call 1st Source, and just know that it will be what you want."
