"Replacing a roof is not cheap - and it’s not exactly the most fun thing to throw a lot of money at (versus, say, a new bathroom) . AEM (Kevin B. in particular) made this not only painless, but even pleasant. We got three bids - Kevin B. from AEM was the only one that bothered to actually visit our house, meet with us and explain the process. The other bids were just emailed in, apparently using some imaging system that let them measure our rooftop. AEMs bid was not the cheapest of the three, but it was absolutely competitive with the other two - and, because of Kevin’s walking us through the process, we felt much more comfortable having them do the project. Communication as we were getting closer to the day was very good (I work at home - so I knew I’d have to take the day off given the noise). There were a few unavoidable weather delays - Kevin always kept me informed. On the actual day, the team was here early - as was Kevin - and the whole process was done in a day. Something really cool - they had to get into our yard through our neighbor’s back yard (with his permission, of course!) - as a gesture, they raked his leaves! They also cleaned our gutters while they were up there doing the roof. After the fact, the cleanup was perfect - our back yard was spotless! Kevin and his colleague also did some great work repairing our soffits. Anyhow - I don’t think we can recommend AEM highly enough - they care for their customers - and made this as painless as possible. We are very happy with the results. Thanks Kevin and team!"

"I hired Long Roofing Products to replace my roof. From the beginning the sales man lied to me, telling me that they could take off my Gutter Helmets and put them back on correctly. This was lie #1. They have null and voided the warranty of my gutter helmets, because they were not supposed to touch them and according to Gutter Helmets all the roofers know this. lie #2 there were missing pieces on the ends of my gutter helmets to prevent the birds from getting into the gutters. The salesman told me they would order the piece from Gutter Helmets and replace it. This was never done. I have contacted them several times and they continue to tell me they will fix it and they never do. I would NEVER recommend them, I would only tell you NOT to use them. They talk a big game but never follow thru with their promise's."

James came down and explained everything thoroughly and gave me some options. After talking to a few other vendors, I knew I wanted to go with LCT. He was just as great as James, very thorough and let me know what would be happening. In addition to needing the roof replaced we also had some damage to rafters and decking to replace. "We are very pleased with Ray's team work. They did a great job installing the cement board despite the very cold weather (jan-feb). The installation of the door leading to the backyard (garage to backyard) required a bit of tweaking which was done in order to have a good seal. Communication requests by the team to have Indoor access to the room where the bay window was installed could have been better."
