Firstly, we want to sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding concerning the window pane. We understand that receiving double pane windows when you had ordered triple pane windows would indeed be very frustrating. Such a mistake should not have occurred and we assure you that we will take necessary measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Regarding the installation, it is unacceptable that the area was left unclean. Our installers are trained to maintain cleanliness and professionalism at all times and we apologize if this was not the case. Your project manager has assured us that he did everything within his power to rectify the situation. He takes his role very seriously and was genuinely concerned about making sure you were happy with the service you received. However, it is clear that there are still issues that need to be addressed. To that end, we kindly ask that you reach out to our office directly at your earliest convenience. This will give us the opportunity to understand the situation better and take the necessary steps to make this right. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this matter. "Hi [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the confusion. We do not charge for estimates but we do however, charge for inspections. If I understand correctly, you have Hardie siding that is failing and needs to be repaired. For that reason, the Technician who would be performing the repair work, needed to inspect the extent of the damage to create a comprehensive report for you which would provide you with recommendations for how to prevent the problem from occurring again. If you were going to be stripping and residing the full section, there would be no need to have the Technician go out and therefore, we could offer a free estimate. But from my understanding, you only wanted to replace the boards that were failing. Our Technicians are wonderful at diagnosing and documenting the source of issues (whether roofing or siding) and recommending action steps so the issues don't arise again. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns!"
