"A few weeks ago our gas hot water heater died. We had never used Valdel Plumbing before but were extremely impressed with the entire experience. We found them on Angie's list as being highly rated and there's a reason for it. We called them at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 AM had hot water and that's not exaggerating! Their specialist, Steve Ault was awesome and very knowledgeable. He quickly got to work dismantling the old unit. He even had a new heater and all the parts on his truck so there wasn't even a delay in waiting for parts or a new heater to be delivered. He also installed a drip pan, a pressure regulator and re-routed some of the exhaust piping for better venting. The price they charged seemed to be in line with the work performed. Obviously, based on our first time experience, we'd highly recommend Valdel and Steve for any residential plumbing work. Thanks Valdel!"

"David was incredibly rude to me and yelled at me multiple times over the phone, in my home, etc. He installed a gas water heater in my basement, and then I had to get the chimney repaired. He blamed the chimney repair guy for "ruining his water heater" after it turned out it was backdrafting. I went back and forth with my chimney repair service and David, and no one could figure out what went wrong. This is not my fault, I'm a new homeowner trying to figure out how to make my house safe and liveable. David told me I was "demanding" that he help me, except I paid him fairly and was willing to continue to pay him. I don't want someone in my house shouting at me and telling me I paid for the wrong services, especially considering that they've already been done. I do not need or want someone so willing to blame others and complain coming into my house, and I'm sure you don't either. Extremely unprofessional."

"I scheduled an appointment with them in response to their ad to flush a hot water tank for $49, no trip charge or add on expenses. After scheduling and in advance of the appointment I called for details regarding the service to be provided at this very hard to believe price. No matter what time of day I called I was always routed to an answering service that only scheduled appointments. Each time they said they would reach out to a manager to get my questions answered. After 3 calls and an email without a response, I cancelled my appointment."

"I had a very negative and unprofessional experience with Horizon Services. I signed a contract with them. When it was time to service my AC unit, they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it, only to cancel and reschedule it again, and yet they did it again! They cancelled my AC maintenance appointment three times over nearly a month period. The scheduler kept cancelling the appointment a few minutes before the appointment time, which was very inconvenient for me because I had to be home every time they scheduled. After the third cancellation, I asked the scheduler to escalate the case to a supervisor which he told me he did. But the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called again and escalated again, still the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called at least twice after that and was told that my case was already escalated to a female manager, but still she never called me back. All I got from the Horizon phone operators was repeated empty promises that “someone will call you back in 12 hours, etc.” But they never called back to commit to either providing the AC maintenance service or cancelling my contract and refunding my money in full. What makes matters worse is that none of the Horizon Services phone operators who answered my repeated calls was able to transfer me to a manager to speak with in real time. These operators said that they could only “email the senior manager or the concern department”. What a disappointment, and what a lousy excuse to ignore a contracted customer. I truly regret hiring Horizon Service and signing a contract with them and I will never recommend them to anyone. The failure by Horizon Services to provide the AC maintenance per the contractual agreement (it’s now mid-summer and my aging AC unit was not serviced to date) and the fact that their customer service manager never bothered to respond to my repeated phone complaints speak volumes about the unprofessional way they have treated me."

We had received 2 estimates for a new system in 2020 but weren't completely happy with either company. We got 2 new estimates and decided to go with Fahrenheit. Mike came over the day after we called and we were very impressed with his knowledge and responsiveness, as well as the fact that his team was able to do the install the very next day. The price was fair and similar to the other estimates we had received. The team arrived promptly the next morning. They installed the new unit, blower and compressor. They were clean and friendly and worked hard. The new unit has been installed for almost 2 months now and works great. I am very happy with our choice and highly recommend Fahrenheit."
