I needed two water heaters replaced. They were aging, and I was living on borrowed time. I called Steve on Sunday. He gave me a great price and on Monday his technician, Jeff, arrived on time to replace both. He did so in two hours and hooked everything up properly. I've done this work, so I know when it is right. Very courteous and very professional. Replaced the expansion tank as it was again as well upon his recommendation. We're good for at least 12 more years! Thank you, Water Heater Express. Amazing people doing great work.

Steve and his crew were excellent. They tried to be out the same day I called (Thursday), but a previous job went longer than expected, so they agreed to come out on Friday afternoon at 5:30 pm. They showed up right on time, removed the old water heater and promptly installed the new one. I actually had to leave town on Thursday, but my roommate was there to let them in Friday; Steve called me periodically with updates and kept me informed every step of the way. Great job, excellent service.

Steve was amazing! He could have easily said he needed to come out for service but instead he said I’m going to call you right now on FaceTime!! He walked me through the entire process of how to relight my water heater. He truly is a gem and I highly recommend you look no further than him! You will NOT be disappointed!

Got a call Saturday Morning that my mom's hot water heater in the basement was leaking and there was water everywhere. Water was coming out of the bottom of th tank. Thankfully it was a small leak so we were able to shut off the water and drain the tank. Tried to call a few people on Saturday, but no call backs. Tried Lowes and Home Depot and they wouldn't even tell me till Monday before they could schedule. Got onto Angi's List Sunday and submitted a request to a couple of Pro's. Jeff was the only one to called back. He asked some information about the existing water heater, what kind, the size, etc. Setup to be out Monday morning. He arrived close to the scheduled appointment, which was understandable to the monday morning traffic from blue bell. He checked out the tank. Based on the previous hot water installation, he would need to do additional work in order to properly install the heater. The additional work - replace the gas shutdown value (still the original 50+ year old) and a portion of gas piping, replace both the hot and cold copper lines leading from the tank, replace the cold shutdown value (as the old was leaking), replace the tank exhaust venting. Have to say was floored with the motorized dolly that he used to move the tanks up the front stairs and down into the basement. I want one!!! All told, from start to finish, the work was completed in about an hour and a half. He took his time to explain what he needed to do and why. As well as answering all our questions. The additional work added to the initial quote, but it was well worth it. Jeff did a great job!! He will be my first call the next time I have any plumbing needs.

I am very satisfied with this company they handled everything in a professional manner and I have my water heater working properly again.

Steve and his daughters were great. Our water heater died on a Sunday night and Steve reached out that night with a quote and followed up in the morning. Even though he already had a job that morning he still got us a new tank in the afternoon. He and his daughters were prompt, friendly and did a great job. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

They came out on a Thursday night and handled my problem quickly and professionally. They didn’t charge extra for a nighttime emergency. I would definitely recommend and will use them again. Before they left they showed me my problem so hopefully I won’t have to call again.

The job went quite well. Steve was right on it from the start. He acted in a very professional manner and was prompt and always stayed in communication with me. His workmanship was good and he cleaned up the worksite to my satisfaction. His helpers (his daughters) were polite and friendly. You could tell they come from a good family.

I bought this Rheem water heater last yr 4/2019. The thermostat malfunctioned. the water heater was under warranty. He ordered the part immediately and had it installed within two days. He is very pleasant to work with. Has a good attitude. and works really hard Would recommend him. .

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER!!!! They came on Friday and never finished the job as scheduled, they told me they would be coming Monday to finish it. On Monday they NEVER came and I had to try getting in touch countless times before even getting a response - which was only to say they would be coming the next day And they didn’t get back to me until 4PM when they were supposed to be here at 10. The next day, they NEVER SHOWED UP AGAIN. I had to reach out repeatedly ALL day and threaten to get my lawyer involved before they even responded. Now this morning, they were supposed to be here at 8 and they still haven’t come. THIS MORNING THEY DIDNT SHOW UP FOR A THIRD DAY IN A ROW. STEVE - the owner that I had been coordinating with has since blocked my number so I can’t reach him and now my house is an absolutely DIASASTER for thanksgiving that I’m hosting. They demod part of my wall, disconnected and moved my washer and dryer into my entry way, used ALL of my towels and just left them on the floor along with everything else and never came back! I wasnt even able to wash my clothes for work this week bc my washer and dryer aren’t hooked up and it’s now Wednesday, the day before thanksgiving. This is the single worst experience I have ever had with a business. They are dishonest, unreliable, do not communicate, and last but not least - they do not finish the jobs they start. Now I am SOL and have tried calling and texting them multiple times today with no response from them whatsoever

Very professional replaced the heater quickly and fixed flaws that needed to be addressed.

At 3pm on a Saturday I called because of my issue and was immediately helped. The call was answered by a young lady who connected me to a technician who politely and promptly talked me through the process and he talked me through how to get the water heater running again within minutes. Great service!

Steve and his partner Anthony did a great job. The water heater is in a little basement that is only accessible through a little 2 1/2 by 3 foot opening in the back of a closet. Those guys were able to get my old 75 gallon water heater out and the new one in with barely an inch to spare on either side. They didn't chip any paint. They were extremely careful. Those guys were working really hard and yet they had a great sense of humor and a good attitude. Steve gave me a fair price which was lower than the competitors. The installation was flawless. He took a lot of time to explain all the settings on the water heater. I definitely recommend Water Heater Express.and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

On the morning of 10/24/18, I called Water Heater Express and Steve picked up right away and said he could replace my water heater for $895 installed and could do it the same day. We settled for 1:00 PM. Shortly after he texted me and asked if I could get there an hour early because he had to pick up his daughter from piano. I told him it was unlikely but I would try. I arrived a few minutes before 1:00 PM. I would not recommend this plumber. His behavior was unbelievable. I should have sensed something was wrong when he mistakenly (said he) texted me some very rude comments right as I arrived. Before he started I pointed out the narrow staircase and stairwell to the basement and asked him if he had a water heater and equipment that could get down there. He said he knew what to do and he was the right guy for the job. I told him the heater he brought looked too big and asked if there were models smaller in diameter. He said no the energy regulations required resulted in them being a little bigger. He said he could get it down the staircase. He intentionally broke off a pvc drain pipe from the old water heater (by squeezing the metal spout with a pliers to flatten it and then twisting the round pipe which, of course, promptly broke). He said it would be $35 to replace it. Although the water valve worked fine he continued to pull on the over head pipes to dramatically note water was dripping from them and that meant the valve didn't work. It would seem that it might take a bit for the water to run out of pipes after turning it off. However, he said he needed to put a valve on it to ensure it turned off. That would be $75 He also said he needed to put a new gas valve on. He said it would be $65. (Mind you I may be a few dollars off because he didn't give me a copy of the itemized receipt he had me sign.) He cursed, said, "Oh no," huffed, puffed, broke 2 light bulbs with his head and complained that it was a tough job. Since it was more than an hour that would be $71. He took off the handrail, wood trim, and door of this narrow doorway and staircase he insisted he could navigate stating he would do the demo but not replace the items. He then proceeded to tell me I needed to help him carry the new water heater down since his dolly wouldn't fit. He took the new water heater off the dolly and twisted it's bottom back and forth on my new engineered hardwood floors, then tipped it back. Those actions left significant scratches. He slammed it into the plaster wall denting it, and breaking it in two places on the way down the stairs. During the replacement he became rude and loud in response to my question about his business insurance to repair the damage that he made to the walls and floor. He yelled at me and told me that wasn't his responsibility and I was lucky he was doing the job and continued on in a very unprofessional manner. He told me the job had gone south since he damaged the floor. He then told me if I didn't get the water main valve replaced (another $175) I'd risk it breaking and a $1500 job. I declined and asked him to finish up. He mumbled and grunted and then told me I needed to help him take the old water heater back up the stairs. He broke off the drain spout and turned it toward the stairs insisting on putting the water heater down on each step. That resulted in water and staining on each step of the newly beige carpeted staircase. He pointed it out. Finally, he told me he hadn't charged me for the demo and that was a courtesy. I have pictures of all of the damage and the staircase.

They came and installed 2 water heaters. Within a month one of the heaters stopped working. I called them, texted but there was no response. Beware. Once you pay the money no guarantee they will come back if something goes wrong. No professionalism.

The rep was knowledgeable. He explained things throughout the process. He made recommendations to improve some things. I was surprised to learn that my water pressure was near 100 psi. He recommended a water pressure regulator. I had him do the work and now my water pressure is around 70 psi. I never realized that the pressure was too high in my house of 10 years. I'm happy that the installer made this and other recommendations to help me save money later. Very professional and highly recommended.

Steve and his crew worked diligently and quickly to install the water heater. He was able to explain to my wife and I in a very detailed manner the work that was accomplished. He followed-up the day after to see if everything was working properly, and it was.
