"We had a new home in which builder installed low quality parts that started to malfunction after warranties expired. Joe fixed the toilet, sink, and bathtub issues. He then installed a water softener and filtration system that addressed Pottstown hard water issues. He and his team include a master plumber, master electrician, and chemic specialists. They are friendly, courteous, and happy to explain and teach you about their service, products, and how to maintain. They do not believe in oversell. They match products to customers needs. They are honest, knowledgeable, reasonable and fair in their service and product pricing. They do go the extra mile for customers, something that is rare in customer service these days. Absolutely will continue using for maintenance and future plumbing needs."

"It went very well.  We are happy.  We are sorry that we did not hire the professionals at Mattioni sooner.  They were experts and told us the truth.  The other plumbers covered up the issues instead of fixing them.  We wasted a great deal of money.

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Water stains directly below a bathroom fixture indicate you need plumbing repairs, while stains near exterior walls point to roof damage from local ice dams. In Limerick basements, water near foundation walls points to poor exterior grading, whereas water near a floor drain signals a pipe issue. If you smell sewage outdoors near your drain field, contact a septic specialist rather than an interior pipe repair expert.

Helpful?

Leaving hoses connected during freezing Pennsylvania winters traps water against the bib, causing cracked fittings inside your walls. For interior plumbing, pouring grease down the drain creates severe clogs, especially in older cast iron pipes. If you rely on a private septic system, flushing non-biodegradable wipes or doing back-to-back laundry loads overloads the system. Clean your fixtures regularly to prevent local hard water scale from destroying seals and valves.

Helpful?

Gurgling sounds from multiple fixtures indicate a partial main line blockage caused by tree roots in established Limerick neighborhoods. Soft drywall or discolored subfloors around a toilet signal an active leak requiring immediate plumbing attention before the wood rots. If your water heater begins rumbling or popping, hard water sediment has built up inside the tank, meaning the unit is nearing total failure and needs replacement.

Helpful?

Before scheduling plumbing services, locate your main water shutoff valve. Limerick properties use either municipal water or private wells, and knowing how to turn off your specific system prevents extensive damage during a leak. During freezing PA winters, open cabinet doors under sinks on exterior walls and allow faucets to drip. Apply gentle warmth to frozen pipes, but call a licensed professional for any unthawing or repair work.

Helpful?

Older Limerick homes built between the 1960s and 1980s regularly require plumbing updates for corroding galvanized steel supply lines. Additionally, local municipal water contains moderate hardness, which accelerates sediment buildup and shortens water heater lifespans. You must also monitor your sump pump and discharge lines. The heavy clay soils in this region cause high water tables every spring, making sump pump replacements a very common repair.
