He actually explained that we could probably handle the repair ourselves if we were up for it, instead of paying him or someone else. He then walked us through every step in detail and made sure we were comfortable with the directions. So in the end, it cost us $0 in labor and only a small amount for materials, and really demonstrated AJ's integrity and generosity!"

"I scheduled an appointment with them in response to their ad to flush a hot water tank for $49, no trip charge or add on expenses. After scheduling and in advance of the appointment I called for details regarding the service to be provided at this very hard to believe price. No matter what time of day I called I was always routed to an answering service that only scheduled appointments. Each time they said they would reach out to a manager to get my questions answered. After 3 calls and an email without a response, I cancelled my appointment."

"I wouldn’t be writing this Review if one thing would have happened, TALK TO ME. Don’t place the answering service in the position of telling a Customer that the Supervisor has left for the day at 2.45p on a Thursday. Especially when the Horizon repairman had just fried our whole cooling system, including the thermostat!! What started with a bad fan motor in a new AC system that was only 3.5 years old in a $10,000 system, for which we had waited 4 days for the new motor to be installed. Add to that the fact that the repairman told me he would be at our home at 8.30a and didn’t arrive until 11.30a - after having to use a vacation day to wait at home for them to arrive. Then telling me this will be ‘quick’ all I have to do is switch out the motor by mounting it and plugging in the new one. Hours went by, nothing. He comes in to test the thermostat and it is non-responsive. He tells me to get new batteries, which I did. Then asks me, “these are new?” To which I say, ‘of course’ - you watched me take them out of the box. Then he goes out to his truck for the next 1.5hrs, supposedly speaks with his Supervisor and comes in and tells me that he has fried the system. I reply by saying I will be calling a senior person to speak with them. Called 4 times and never spoke with anyone. Each time I waited on hold for an extended period of time. Each time, I was then told by the answering service that someone would call and never did. Then at 2.45p I am told “everyone has left for the day” and no one would be calling. This was a Thursday, I had been home all day and no one would speak with me. We remain without an AC system, no plan, no calls - - nothing!!! If I could rate them a ZERO, I would,"

"We were in the process of renovating our apartment and needed to apply for permits from the government, which required an architect-signed design drawing. Anthony came highly recommended. He took the time to visit our apartment and carefully understand the challenges we faced in obtaining the permits. After thoroughly reviewing the space and listening to our renovation ideas, he assured us that the project would be straightforward for him and that he could provide an architectural drawing that would not only meet our needs but also ensure we could pass inspection without any issues. Despite the project being relatively small, Anthony was more than willing to take it on and offered a very reasonable fee for his services. We truly appreciate the time, care, and professionalism he brought to the table. We would highly recommend Anthony to anyone looking for an architect who is knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to delivering great work."

"They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."
