Jack did a SUPERB job. The problem was that my 2nd floor bathtub drain shoe pipe (installed in 1947, when the house was built) had rusted out, causing water to drip down through my kitchen ceiling . Getting at the pipes was going to be difficult. I know this because, the day the leak started, a home inspector was at my house, and he removed the access panel behind the tub (located in a 2nd floor clothes closet) and looked at the problem. What we saw was a tiny little space with what looked like an upside down "T" pipe, (the shoe portion all rusted out) and barely any room to turn a wrench. The home inspector said, "Because there's so little room, your plumber is probably going to have to cut a hole in your kitchen ceiling in order to install the new shoe pipe. But if you get someone who is really good, he might be able to fix it, without cutting your ceiling." Long story short. When Jack came, he replaced the shoe pipe without having to go in through the kitchen ceiling. At the beginning of the job, he had quoted me a price. And even though he had to go to three different plumbing supply houses to get the right size shoe pipe to fit the rest of my 1947 pipes, the final price Jack charged me was the same price he had quoted me at the beginning of the job. Every experience I've had with Master Plumbing (I've used them for past three years) has been terrific. Last year I needed some expert consultation regarding some waterproofing work done by another company. MP's owner, Billy Silk came and didn't charge me a cent. This is one great plumbing company!
