"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. This was a big job that took ~7 weeks to complete. "Showed up in Bloomfield on time and put our minds at ease regarding a horizontal hairline crack in one of our basement walls. Told us that it wasn't a problem now and how to know if it was becoming a more serious issue. Also examined some support posts to assess if they had moved. Overall we learned a bit more about our basement and house construction, and they did not charge us for the visit because the issue was not serious at this time. Great experience!"
