After living in our house for 10 years, we had been looking to repair our leaking roof and cover the deteriorating wood paneling on the outside of our house. We started our search at the 2019 Pittsburgh Home and Garden show. We met with a few roofing companies and decided to go HomePro Remodelers. Roberto met with my wife and I and explained the process of replacing the roof. After signing with them, they got started quickly. The crew that replaced the roof were very professional and courteous. They did a good job with the roof and cleaned up the area before they left. The crew leader Marvin was very easy to talk too and answered any questions as they came up. This year we went through the process of meeting with different companies to get quotes to put vinyl siding on the house. After meeting with Roberto, we decided to go with HomePro Remodelers again since they did a good job on the roof. The day after signing up with them, they were already bringing over equipment. Once again it was Marvin’s crew who did siding, and they did not disappoint. They were courteous and entertained any of our questions. They cleaned up the worksite and the house looks great. After 2 separate jobs with Roberto and Marvin’s crew I would highly recommend HomePro Remodelers.

Covered Patio with Masonry Fireplace DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Here is a 100% accurate reason why. COVID-19 is not the reason, although it was used as an excuse. The main reason is they do poor work and have ZERO craftsmanship. Roberto has zero vision or knowledge of what it takes to complete a custom project on time correctly. We signed a contract with Roberto on December 23, 2019. The project was started on May 13, 2020 and completed on December 11, 2020 (212 days). The whole project should have taken at the most 10–12 weeks, and that is being generous. Every step of the project from the concrete forming to the truss and beam framing had to be done twice because it was done incorrectly the first time. One of his subs even had the nerve to tell me “I am a lot happier how this turned out the second time”. That was after they had to tear down the entire sub-frame structure because it was done incorrectly the first time. The sub contractors that Roberto’s uses are all completely unreliable and unprofessional. One of his subs actually built the roof trusses on our brand new concrete patio and chipped the concrete in multiple places. The concrete actually cracked right down the middle because his concrete sub took 11 days to come back and cut the relief joints. (Relief joints should be cut within the first 24-48 hours at most). Every step of the way on this project was a compromise of quality and craftsmanship on our part. Our project included a lot of masonry work of which Roberto knows nothing about. The electrical portion of this project was so poorly executed that when we plugged an extension cord into the newly installed outlet, sparks shot out of the outlet. Roberto was also very unprofessional, he yelled at my wife after we refused to give him more money for work that was poorly done and unacceptable to us. We could go on an on about this entire project and how painful it was to endure. The entire project was documented with pictures and a daily journal to provide us with the necessary details. If after this review, you still use Roberto and HomePro Remodelers, (We highly recommend that you do not) make sure you watch every single step of your project and do not give him any money until the project is completely finished correctly.

"Hello and thank you for your review, the job came out spectacular, state of the art, although we are authorized to work under covid, there was massive confusion from Governor office regarding home remodelers companies but we made it through very well. The stone you picked is totally different, way way smaller and due to coverage area, ypu made us take it down several times as you wanted as tight with absolutely no gaps (2700 stones) took longer but came out perfect. Myself and installers 100% professional and polite, your wife was yelling at me from other room (5 witnesses) as I was speaking to you about the project, you said quote you would take care of this issue, everything else came out just great, you asked for $3000 off for chips on concrete and small hairline crack and we did. After job was completed you took another $3000 off due to two 1 inch section of mortar off top of chimney, HomePro has A RATINGS all over with over thirty years in this business and thousands of satisfied customers. We performed the tasks with pride and did an excellent job and I'm very sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. It could not have gone better. We first hired Home Pro to do 2 deck covers and a new deck. Roberto gave us an estimate and gave us a time frame. The project was completed within the time frame. The construction workers were very competent and professional . They ran into a few problems while working on our project but handled the issues well. They cleaned up well after the project was completed. The deck coverings are beautiful and the composite decking is beautiful also. Our outdoor space is totally ready for entertaining. We liked Home Pro so well that we contacted Roberto once again when we needed a new roof. The roof was completed in one day and the old roofing material was put in a dumpster and the dumpster was taken away the next day. We are very happy with the material that was used on our roof. We saved money on our heating bill this winter and our house seems warmer. We can highly recommend HomePro to our friends and family. We were very satisfied with both projects from start to finish. Roberto is very personable and is now like family to us.

Very well. I am very pleased with both the three-season room and the deck. The workers were very reliable and knowledgeable. A little bit of a slow start because of rain but once the work started it went quickly. There were a few minor glitches that were quickly taken care of.

Excellent, they replaced the complete roof (15 S.Q.) in just two days. The first day they worked even in the rain. Most people don't work that hard in that kind of weather on a wet roof. The second day it rained in the morning but by 9am they were up on the roof again they finished that afternoon and after they cleaned up there was not a piece of roofing material; nail; or any other trash on the ground. They not only did an excellent job in just two days but by the time they left you could not even tell they were here. The whole crew was very polite and always willing to answer a question.
