"All-Natural took care of a serious ant infestation in a previous home in the Willamette Valley, so I'm pleased that they service the coast as well, although it does take a bit longer for someone to get here. They are more expensive, but knowing I and my pets aren't being exposed to toxic poisons while getting rid of the bugs is more than worth it."

"We had an issue with interior ants and random spiders. Called Pointe Pest Control , got a quick appointment , Mike came out and did treatment both of the inside of house and exterior. Rat poison that contains an anticoagulant like warfarin can cause bleeding, chills, confusion, extreme fatigue, headache, convulsions, lightheadedness, and seizures. Anticoagulants prevent your blood from forming clots, which can result in uncontrolled bleeding both internally and externally. Other types of rat poison that aren't anticoagulants attack your liver, kidneys, and digestive system. They can suppress your breathing and heart rate, causing low blood oxygen and poor circulation. Burning in your throat and gastric discomfort are common symptoms.

Squirrels tend to forage, traveling along roof and fence lines. To trap a squirrel, placing a baited trap on the roof near the point of entry is the best option. If you can see them going in and out or recognize the damage they might be causing to the exterior of your home, you can also try placing traps near those locations.

You can easily find sprays that claim they are safe for pets and kids. However, we’d rather not use them in our own homes if we’re worried about pet safety: They still include pesticides and other chemicals, and are best avoided in any food prep areas like the kitchen, or any spots where children and pets may place. That’s why sprays didn’t end up in our suggestions for the safest options.

Alongside selecting the best bait for an iguana trap, the location, position, and timing play a part. If the lizards have a burrow in your yard or regularly take the same route, place the trap there during the day. Iguanas are diurnal and most active during the day. A shady spot is best to keep the animal comfortable. And don’t forget to pick a level surface or stabilize the trap with a brick—iguanas are less likely to enter if it’s wobbly.
