"All-Natural took care of a serious ant infestation in a previous home in the Willamette Valley, so I'm pleased that they service the coast as well, although it does take a bit longer for someone to get here. They are more expensive, but knowing I and my pets aren't being exposed to toxic poisons while getting rid of the bugs is more than worth it."

"We had an issue with interior ants and random spiders. Called Pointe Pest Control , got a quick appointment , Mike came out and did treatment both of the inside of house and exterior. He also placed a couple of ant traps on counters. Two days later zero ants and haven’t seen any spiders . Great Co! Courteous , professional, safe product, quick response, excellent results. Then, vacuum your mattress and the rest of your bedroom, paying special attention to the mattress seams and crevices near your headboard. Next, use one (or more) of the solutions listed above to kill any live bugs, or call an exterminator for a professional treatment.

The time and number of treatments required for an exterminator to get rid of roaches depend on factors like the roach type, infestation severity, and extermination method. For small infestations, a single treatment may be sufficient, showing results within 1 to 3 days. However, most cases require several treatments and take about 2 to 8 weeks to resolve completely. Severe infestations can take up to 6 months to fully eliminate.

While foxes may find them unpleasant, mothballs are not an effective deterrent. Additionally, mothballs are toxic for humans and animals and should never be used outside. They contain naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, which are very harmful to the environment. Use safer, more reliable deterrents, or hire a professional wildlife control expert.

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.

  • Droppings: Rats and mice leave small, rice-shaped droppings (the rat’s version is significantly larger). Bigger droppings belong to larger critters like raccoons. As long as you’re not squeamish, an image search can help you identify what you’re seeing in your attic.
