"They were prompt, pointed out another dead tree we hadn't realized was also a problem, took care of everything quickly, and cleaned up thoroughly. They were also pleasant and polite. We recommend them to everyone who needs a tree service."

"Fast and efficient at removing two trees from our backyard. It was amazing watching these three guys work, you could tell they have their system down working together. Had the trees down in under two hours, cleaned everything up and I couldn't be happier with the service and price. As long as this company is in business, I will always go through them. Beyond awesome, thank you!!!"

"This tree service couple is absolutely amazing. Had to have a tree 14ft in diameter removed from our new house in front of our garage. They were fast, friendly, efficient, extremely well priced and cleaned up some of our own tree trimmings for no extra cost. If I could rate them 10 stars I definitely would. I highly recommend going through their services for any tree removal or trimming. Left our property sparkling clean, will go through them again for future projects."

"Stu did great work in assessing what my trees needed and that included not only the trimming, but also he assessed the irrigation to the trees and how to keep the roots healthy. It’s more than just trimming: Stu takes the whole health of the tree, shrub, plant, into consideration."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Leaving a dead tree can expose your other trees to potential diseases, pests, and fungi, and it can also be a hazard. If your tree is dead, then you should hire a tree maintenance service to remove it. Cutting down trees is extremely dangerous, and a professional can ensure no one gets hurt and there is no damage to your property. Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 and will prevent future issues and keep you and your property safe.

Make sure the tree roots soak around a day before you dig the tree up for the transplant. Keep the roots wet while the tree is above ground. After the transplant is finished, provide consistent water every day for the first month or so. You don’t want to overwater the tree, but you do want to keep the roots wet so they can thrive in their new environment.

If it’s your property, then you can plant a tree near power lines, but it’s not the best idea. Any vegetation that grows within 10 feet or so of power lines will fall under the responsibility of the utility company, and they may trim or remove it as necessary. If you do move forward with your plan, try to choose a smaller ornamental tree, plant it as far away from the power lines as you can, and keep it trimmed to avoid future problems.

In nature, there are many things that can cause a tree to die, including diseases, insects, and natural disasters such as fires or droughts. Non-natural methods of killing a tree include herbicides or manual intervention, such as cutting it down. Consult a tree removal professional about your options for naturally killing a tree.

You will know that an oak tree needs to be removed when you see vertical cracks or dead branch stubs, which indicate internal decay. Other signs include trunk rot near the base of the tree and sprouts or small branches coming from the trunk.
