There wasnâ t proper labeling in place from original install and wall jacks werenâ t functional so we decided to give Fish Cat a call based on a referral. We work from home and on the computer all day so having everything hard wired is of major benefit. Fish Cat was able to fix the infrastructure issues with cabling and wall jacks and went above and beyond to make sure our specific workstations were up and running cleanly with new cable to wall. "They did a good job on our installation of a security camera system. What they did very, very badly was create a quote that was way lower than what it actually ended up costing. Beware of this if you are considering using them! They will cover themselves by saying it?s a ?rough estimate? in order to capture your business?but in our experience, they certainly knew how far they were driving (Clackamas to Hillsboro)..yet the travel costs were roughly triple what was quoted. The original estimate to install a camera system that cost $1,500 was $1,850. I was a little shocked at the estimate..but it ended up being similar to the other quote that I received. The actual invoice came in a little over $2800! No warning that it was going to be way over..and they had an answer for everything?kinda like they?d done this before. Again, the work was good, but there is now way I?d ever use this outfit again or recommend them to anyone I know!"
