Lowe's - Glen Burnie

On 9/5/22 we went to Lowe’s to set up a storm door install & paid for measurement. We had 2 different people come to measure the door (that alone is a red flag). The door associate Nedro (Tyree) Wood gave us a quote that we agreed on 9/15/22. We signed the quote & told Mr. Wood to please update the name. On 9/16/22 we went into the store and paid for the install at 1:20pm. We talked to Ferdinand Gonzalez the store manager and we asked for his card in case we had any problems. A week later we hadn’t heard anything about the door so we called and they explained that the door was being made. This didn’t make any sense because it was an in stock door. They also stated that we hadn’t paid when we physically went into the store to pay on 9/16/2022. The associate Wesley Brown was disrespectful on the phone and we could hear Tyree Wood having an attitude in the background saying we hadn’t paid, when we had the receipt to prove it. Finally, he found the payment and said the door would be ready on Thursday, September 29. On September 29 we called the installation department to check the status and they said the door still wasn’t in the system but then when they called over to the store they said they just put it in the system a couple seconds ago. He stated that we would be contacted in 2 business days but no one called. The store manager is unreachable. We called the installation department today, October 4 after not hearing from anyone. They said someone would contact us within 24 hours. Since we’ve been waiting so long we called to the store to double check the status and the associate we talked to said he didn’t see anything in the system only a communication from 9/5/2022. So we asked to speak to a manager. After calling back 3 times we finally got a hold of the assistant manager Kerre. She was very disrespectful. Not willing to find out what the other associate was looking at and why we keep getting different responses and hung up on us. We just want our door installed.

One of the cabinets arrived damaged and that set us back quite a while because it had to be re-ordered and my house is so unleveled and that created a lot of fun trying to install the crown molding. Some of the workers get an A and some of the workers a B. The finished product is beautiful and you don't look too close. You never knew when the subcontractors were going to show up.

Installed new pergo floor in master bedroom. Did exactly what was expected on time and cleaned area after job completed.

When I first met George, the kitchen designer, he gave me a thorough and insightful review of all the kitchen manufacturers represented at Lowes. I left a copy of my contractor's plan with him so he could start working on ideas before we met again for my appointment the following week. When I next arrived, he had the entire plan in his computer system with a variety of scenarios for me to consider. We spent the next 3 hours working and reworking ideas until I was pleased with the final plan. After several bad experiences with bad designers at other kitchen stores, George was a breath of fresh air. His patience, cabinetry knowledge, and customer friendly demeanor were instrumental in my selecting Lowes for my cabinet purchase.

It was incredibly hard to get a hold of them. The faxing back and forth took a very long time. It turned up fine and they eventually got it done, but it was a pain. Eventually the manager called me back but that was after I told them I was going to Home Depot.

I bought the generator one month and asked if they would deliver it the next month; they did. I'm upset because one of the keys would not fit the generator so we couldn't get in two sides of the generator in order to install it. It is still sitting in my yard while I wait for the key. They were supposed to call the company that made the generator so they could send them another set of keys. Lowe's, in turn, would send the keys to me or tell me the keys had arrived. That has not occurred and it has been about a month. Don't get me wrong and ndash; I really love the store and this is the first time I have had any trouble with the store. The flooring was terrific; I didn't have them install it because I had someone else install it but it is a great job. Get this straight: I would give a and ldquo;Zand rdquo; on the price of everything in the world. Nothing is worth what you pay for it.

The first sales person at Lowes was not helpful. After going to customer service they got someone that was helpful in ordering and understood what we needed.

The contractor that did the work was very helpful and professional. He came to the house, measured carefully, and discussed the floor. It was K G Enterprises that did the installation for Lowes. They held the floor until we were ready for it. Then set a date that worked for us and completed the work on that date.

We were very satisfied with the results.

Overall, they were good. They came in and did the job as promised. They didn't make a big mess. I haven't had any complaints with the door. The price wasn't bad for what I got. It was a fair price. I didn't have to wait too long for them to come out. They were professional.

I like Lowes as a store, and this is the first time I've had a problem. I went in to get two roller-type window shades cut to size, and the staffer botched the measure/cut job. When I went back to return one shade a few weeks later, I was told that line had been discontinued. At Home Depot I found the type of shade I wanted, they cut it correctly, and the shade had a spring mechanism in the end post which allowed for slight measurement variances. Obviously, my displeasure was not in the cost involved, but in the fact that it took three trips to get a simple job done.

I like the variety that they offer. They have a good price range. They offer delivery, set up, and removal of the old washer. I love the appliances that I get here.

I thought that the installers were very professional. They brought the door with them. They arrived on time and it only took them a couple of hours to install it. It was a perfect fit. They made sure everything was clean. Although they contract the work out, they hire good people.

The process went pretty well. The one issue is that there are many contacts at Lowe's and a variety of their people have different information on occasion. The process is fairly good for one stop shopping.

Ordering the carpet from Lowe's was a nightmare to start, it took over two hours to get the order finalized. The crew showed up on time, installed the basement carpet only, and told me that they will come another day for the top stairs. Two or so weeks later they removed the old stair carpet and then found out that they have left the runner in the warehouse. The supervisor of the crew connected me to someone in the warehouse who informed me that, indeed the carpet runner was there and they will install it tomorrow. The next day, no call and no carpet. After a week or so of calls back and forth between Lowe's, the warehouse, and subcontractor, it became apparent that the carpet runner was not ordered yet; at which point I canceled the order. However, at the end of the day the basement carpet installation cost me more, as after canceling the top stairs carpet I had to cover the minimum installation charge.

The installation went beautifully, it really went well. You get what you pay for.

The sales process was the most difficult part. It seems that Lowe's is often under staffed. Once we were finally helped, everything else was easy. The estimator arrived earlier than expected, and our installation was scheduled shortly thereafter. Three installers arrived and worked quickly, but performed excellent work.

The installation service was performed by a Lowe's contractor. The work was professional and well done.

THEY WERE OUTSTANDING! THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY WERE HERE EVERYDAY UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE. THEY WERE VERY INTERESTED IN WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT THE JOB THEY WERE DOING. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND JUST A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.
