"I had just had my trees serviced when two weeks later we had a terrible ice storm. I had three widow makers and a yard full of debris. I called my original tree service, left multiple phone and text messages to request removal of the dangerous foliage/limbs and they have yet to respond. I finally started calling everyone on Angie's List and finally got a hold of Franasco. I told him about my plight and he was here within the hour with an estimate. I thought pricing was a little high, but this was a dangerous situation. I decided to pay after he said he could be here by 8am the next morning. Every other company was three weeks to two months out. The team arrived on-time, worked diligently and professionally and completed the job in about three hours. "This tree was not only tall, but also very wide. It was rotting and due to its close vicinity to lots of buildings, removal needed to be done carefully. Daryl North and his crew did a fantastic job, ensuring that no property or vehicles were damaged in the process. The yard was too small to bring any large equipment back there, so they had to take small pieces of the tree down one piece at a time due to its enormous size by actually climbing the tree, but were able to take the entire tree down in one day with complete safety in mind. They came back a second day to grind the huge stump and hauled away the debris and left the yard so clean, that I could hardly believe that the 100-year-old tree had ever been there! I have the highest respect for Daryl and his crew for making this dangerous job look like a piece of cake. They were professional, polite, and very friendly and kept me informed every step of the way. All of this was done for an incredibly reasonable price. Also, since the city required me to plant a new tree to replace the one I removed, Daryl referred me to someone who helped me purchase and plant a lovely replacement. I explained that the tree which fell needed to be cut into pieces and then the pieces were to be distributed around my naturescaped garden to provide food and shelter for birds, bugs and other critters. He set to work and quickly finished the job as well as cleaning up the debris left in the pathway! Very pleasant to work with. "I have used Pacific NW Arborist's twice now. The first time, they removed two large fir trees, a maple tree, and a willow tree. The fir trees required the use of a crane. They spent one day delimbing the fir trees and removing the maple and willow. They returned with a crane to remove the remainder of the fir trees. All went very well and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the mess. The second time I used their services, they removed a large pine tree that had begun to lean and posed a threat of falling over. It took them about an hour to climb, delimb, remove, and clean up. Very pleased with their effort. All in all, I would highly recommend Pacific NW Arborists; very professional and reliable."
