"My experience with Green Sky Tree Services was excellent from start to finish. When I contacted them to get an initial bid, the receptionist took my info and said she would get back to me soon. I was expecting that to mean a couple days, but she called back within 15 minutes. The arborist, Juan, came out and looked at what I needed done, answered all my questions, and emailed me a bid the very next day. They were booked out about a month at the time, but he was able to fit me in within a couple weeks since it wasn't a large job. He and his crew showed up promptly the day of the job and did a meticulous job trimming one of my maple trees as well as an oak tree. He let me know when he was finished so I could take a look and make sure it was to my satisfaction. The cleanup by Juan and his crew was impeccable. They even went as far as taking care to cut up the large branches with hand saws instead of power saws as to be respectful of my neighbors since they came out early on a Saturday morning. I will definitely be contacting them for any future tree trimming needs."

"We got a call back a couple of days after we called for an appointment, and left our address and the location of the tree so someone could take a look at it . They came over the next day while I wasn't home and called me with the results. They told me that the tree was indeed leaning at ground level, but if you look at it high up it was growing straight as an arrow. It had leaned over in it's youth, but righted itself properly. We had nothing to worry about, he said. He could remove it, and quoted a price, but he didn't think it was necessary. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to hire him for tree work in the future."

"GREAT!!  They showed up on the day we expected. worked full days monday thru friday two-three guys, finished on friday as expected.  They stayed late on friday until 730pm due to a couple leaks that happened in the sprinklers one of which included taking up some of the patio.  Dave added a little addition to the patio and did not charge for labor.  We love the little addition because it is right by the driveway and is located where often times traffic cuts at an angle over the grass and it looks better as well.  We love it and look forward to seeing it blossom and grow.  They worked in sunny 70's as well as hail and torrential rain.  Dave's partner came by several times once the work was done to check on the sod and adjust the sprinklers so it would get enough water due to temperatures in the 80's.  Dave and Steve were great at communication and Dave responded by email promptly!!  We would very much want to use them again!  Our neighbors are raving as well!  Should've had it done years ago before the trees got so big and cost us so much money.  Have a landscaper assess the trees in your yard or a Tree service! 
I hired Preferred Landscaping from Angie's List and the great reviews.  Another company called a few days after my contact I talked with them once and they never called back.

"This company is very professional in their approach and their service is top notch. They pay close attention to detail in how they mow. Juan, the owner, makes sure his staff know exactly what needs to take place in order to produce high quality results. Their signature is in their mowing. You can see the diagonal lines after they do a mowing, and is done with precision. It makes the whole property look beautiful and gives the area a sense of peace. Grass doctor is also prompt. We have used them for over 5 years now and I would recommend their services to anyone, be it professional grounds, or private residence, they have something for all (and their yearly contract includes shrub trimming which saves us a ton of money by not having to hire out for this service. They have even done bark chipping of our playground, digging the old stuff out by hand before laying out the new bark chips. That was true service ! Everyone is warm and friendly and very easy to work with."

He was following-up on the status of the plants after we had a lot of rain, frost and snow. Robert worked closely with us on all aspects of the project. He listened to our desires and suggestions and made sure they were incorporated. He is an enthusiastic professional who loves his work!"
