"Grumpy's Drains was the only company who could get us on their schedule within a week. A half hour before our appointment time, Keith called to let me know he was on his way and then showed up exactly on time. My husband had tried to snake the drains multiple times with no success. Keith was able to clean the clog out of the tub in less than 10 minutes (water balloon and hair clog). He then went to work on the pedestal sink. That was a much more difficult clog while working in a tight space. Keith was cheerful, funny and kind the entire time. The first clog cost a flat $178 and the additional drain was $88. It was money well spent and I would absolutely call on this company again in the future."

The hose bib had split open inside the wall of our house, the water had been turned off at the curb, and we were desperate to flush toilets, wash our hands, and make coffee, among other things. They were able to move their schedule around and come by to fix the problem quickly. The repairman was very efficient and effective, and we had water back on within a few hours. The repair was not cheap, but that was, in part, because it involved cutting a hole in the drywall in my closet and purchasing/installing a plate over it when the repair was done. We now have a favorite plumbing company."

"I needed to have a new faucet installed in the kitchen since mine was leaking for some time and also needed to have the drain under the sink replaced since I have a double sink and the water backed up when running garbage disposal David came a little earlier than scheduled which I was happy about he went right to work installing new faucet and a new pipe under the sink finished under an hour. "Great. He found the metal blocking the disposal and saved me having to install new one. Tightened my faucet in about half a minute. Replaced line and shut off valve to my dishwasher, increasing my water pressure. Showed me how to take toilet fill valve apart to clean out rust so I did not have to call them again."

"J&M is the "go-to" for this type of work. They were very professional from start to finish. They were very knowledgable about the best practices for installing a gas line into the kitchen. They provided an accurate estimate for the length of pipe they would need to use to bring gas to the deck since they charge by the foot. They even installed a larger diameter pipe to the deck in case we ever want to install other gas appliances in the future. My only complaint is the cost, but you get what you pay for and when it comes to something like dealing with gas lines it seems important to go with a reputable company.

"well... the work was done by Ecowater Northwest who is no longer. Reason for the review is that when I stopped hearing from Ecowater Northwest, I found out they were bought out by Culligan. Which is confusing because if you google Ecowater Northwest, you get Wolfer's Heating whose website claims they now own EcoWater Northwest. It seems Culligan got all the old customer files from Ecowater Northwest and Wolfer's got the rights to carry the Ecowater brand going forward. So I called Culligan last year and they found my file from Ecowater Northwest and they said they could support me for replacement filters for the systems that EcoWater Northwest had installed in my home. Great. For a while.
Fast forward to today.. I haven't heard from Culligan since July of this year. The way Ecowater Northwest operated, they would send notices to their customers when it was time to replace filters. I have 4 different filters in my systems and sure hope Culligan is tracking it. The Ecowater RO filters are proprietary and not allowed for sale on the internet - so you are locked in to a Ecowater dealer. Who is it.. Culligan? or Wolfer's? Who's going to continue the maintenance agreement of notifying legacy Ecowater Northwest customers that it's time to replace filters?

"We recently (July 2019) had Sunset Granite in Hillsboro, OR remove our old laminate countertops and install new Quartz countertops. We are very pleased with the service we received, the quality of the products, the installation, and even more importantly the price. Sunset Granite was $3,000 cheaper than several other bids doing the same exact job. I assume this is partly because they do all the cutting and polishing of the stone on site at the business. Eliminating the middle man. Andy the owner was very professional, helping me choose what to purchase and yet saving me money. His installers Adan, Ezequiel and Jose were friendly and did a excellent job ripping out the old counter tops and installing the new countertops. Great skilled employee's. I would recommend this business if you need new Quartz or Granite Countertops installed."
