"Extremely Disappointed with Chimcare’s Service and Product, go with someone else! Our experience with Chimcare started off positively—they did a great job removing a large chimney from our house and installing a gas fireplace insert. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after that. The gas insert they sold us, a Regency brand, has been nothing but a nightmare. Over the last three years, we’ve had to call Chimcare out to repair it at least eight times. Each time, the fireplace works for only a couple of weeks—or less—before breaking down again, often in the same way. Most recently, the ceramic insert they installed broke after just a few days of intermittent use. This strongly suggests that their technicians are not properly trained at installing the ceramic inserts, leading to repeated failures. Because of these issues, we’ve had a functional fireplace for only two months total over the last two years. This failure to provide a reliable product and service has significantly impacted our family. We’ve gone through two Thanksgivings and two Christmases without a working fireplace. To make matters worse, during the major ice storm last year, we were left without the heat the fireplace could have provided—something we should have been able to rely on to keep our home and two small children warm during a power outage. Despite our repeated requests, Chimcare has been incredibly unhelpful in resolving the situation. I’ve had to pester them with calls every few days to get any progress on having Regency honor the warranty. They are completely unresponsive/not-proactive unless I am calling them directly - technician, project planner, and front office are all favorites in my phone - at this point, I’ve had to call daily just to get any updates or action on what should be a simple warranty replacement. Their lack of proactivity and accountability has been exhausting and deeply disappointing and makes it seem like they are not actually trying to honor my warranty and for what we paid for in terms of service. It’s incredibly frustrating to have spent so much money on this installation, only to deal with constant repairs, an unusable product, and a company that refuses to address their technician’s clear errors. While their team is polite when scheduling repairs and when the technicians are present, politeness doesn’t make up for poor service and unreliability. We deeply regret choosing Chimcare for our fireplace installation and strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their fireplace needs."

"We selected All Fuel to install a Valor G4 natural gas unit we'd purchased in July 2020. After multiple bids, I noticed they alone didn't "up sell" me nor did their bid leave costs vague. From start to finish, this company was excellent. Following the installation of the gas line, their installation of the unit was efficient and exacting. The team stayed after installation to explain how the G4 was controlled. In Winter 20-21, when we noticed the unit caused the wooden mantle paint to blister, Joe and Eric Camp took the time to help me figure out via email the pros and cons of various solutions, even those that weren't going to require their services. They installed a blower in May 2021 to diffuse the unit's heat. Again, the timing, estimated costs and the coordination with an electrician were spot-on. We noticed they practiced COVID-19 precautions during their visits. Throughout all this, Melony, Kaytlyn & Sheri in their front office were pleasant, efficient, and followed-through. A 2017 Angi's reviewer stated All Fuel was the "...perfect model of a successfully run company." I'd add I wish that all home service companies ran like this one."

"Showed up at 9:40 for 9:40 appointment. Job took 30 min. 2 workers. Nathan answered all my questions about the job and related fireplace issues. Happy to report that he stated when he didn't know the answer in depth, but suggested what may be the source of effects. The job was done quickly, professionally and cleanly. Quoted a list of optional improvements (chimney cap, brick cleaning/seal) and repairs (cement flue cap replacement) that should be considered, but that they not a limitation to safe usage of the fireplace. I would hire again."

"I was notified by my water bureau that I had a major pipe leak and was horrified to learn that the leak added up to 10,000 gallons more than my normal usage in a billing cycle. I contacted Anton Beslic at MasterWorks Plumbing based on the stellar Angi reviews. He came over the following morning and diagnosed the problem within minutes: an old and cracked PVC pipe leading from the house to the meter. Anton made the arrangements to get the job started and mostly completed the following day. That involved getting a permit from the city; having officials mark on my lawn where fiber optic cables, gas lines, etc., were located; hiring a company to bore a new service line from the meter to the house crawl space; installing a quality 60’ pipe that will last way beyond my lifetime; installing an expansion tank on the water heater; and arranging for a final inspection from the city. Anton also installed a main house shut off in the closet next to the crawl space entry, which I did not have previously. I was so impressed by his professionalism, skill, and attention to detail and am forever grateful for how quickly he got the job done. I highly recommend MasterWorks plumbing!"
