Neilson Construction

We had a great experience with Neilson Construction. Our house had two natural gas fireplaces that needed to be replaced, as well as an entrance floor. For reasons that aren’t really pertinent here, we ended up not only replacing the fireplaces themselves, but remodeling the entire fireplace surrounds. Neilson was the general contractor on the project, coordinating with electricians, fireplace installers, and their own crew of carpenters and tilers. Everybody showed up on time, every time. The communication from Neilson’s home office was top-notch, they cleaned up every evening, and the quality of the work was outstanding. They also stuck to their bid. I’d hire Neilson again in a second!

Overall the project went very well. They sequenced the work in each space to minimize the impact on our family (3 women (2 teens...) and 1 man), which helped to keep the stress levels minimal. The finish work looks amazing. Beautiful new custom tile shower, all new stand alone tub with tile surround, backsplash and flooring all look great!

The staff at Neilson were great. Ryan kept me informed and the crew did a fantastic job. They even cleaned up every night.

Did a fantastic job coordinating with All Fuel and the electrician for the installation of our new gas fireplace. Beautiful job was done on the tile work. Neilson Construction followed-up on some minor cosmetic work and it was taken care of promptly.

They were timely and conscientious of the impact to our family as well as nuances of the project where I asked for something that might now have provided the best outcome. I appreciated their input and thought on the projects. They were also as flexible as they could be on schedules when things were delayed from our side or we decided to work at another time to best fit each others' schedules.

I sell real estate and have used Andy several times on different projects. He always does a stellar job. He communicates well. He calls me back promptly. And he stands behind his work. He is my go to guy for any home repair work needed

It went great, I couldn't be happier. Most of the work was done by one contractor, Norm. He was very professional, thorough, and efficient. Everything he did looks great. I was particularly happy with the fact that he left my house clean and in functional condition every day. The kitchen project took about a week and I was able to cook and use the kitchen that whole time. I was also impressed with how easy it was to schedule everything. I mostly communicated with Justin and he was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Overall, this was a much more pleasant experience than I ever imagined and I will 100% hire Neilson again if I decide to do more construction on my house!

It turned out great. Neilson Construction was great to work with. Punctual and very clean and tidy. It was invasive construction right in our living area but some nights when I came home from work I did not even realize they had been there. There was zero dust and clean up that I had to do plus they removed the mantle so carefully we were able to reuse it. I would not hesitate to hire them for another job and highly recommend them!

I got what I expected to have done. They did a great job. They always arrived on time and worked the day. All my friends love the kitchen redo as I do. They were always polite and did what was expected.
