"This isn't a property that I own, it's quite an investment for me to choose such an expense, but Even though he knew I couldn't afford what he was offering and likely couldn't afford it from anyone else, Mr. McNatt was still extremely helpful with his direction and advice for me. So much so that I will be calling him for my next electrical need."

"We were extremely pleased with Corrigan and sons on the work they did installing a lightning rod protection system on our home. They did the work themselves and started and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. Hard working people, and without hesitation, we would highly recommend them."

"We purchased a fixerupper and tried to get the Breaker Panel replaced for 4 months to no avail. One contractor came but never gave us a bid. Another told us he was very busy and put us on his list. When the 45 yr old panel started to arch and lights blinked we called the fire dept and they encouraged us to find an electrician asap. We found a company that said they were available day and night. That proved not to be true. We were scheduled and rescheduled days out. We had contacted HomeAdvisor who put us in contact with True Fuse Electric. Brad Will examined our issue, rearranged his scheduled and got a new panel installed days before anyone else would even come. Mr. Will was helpful to explain everything to us. He was prompt and his work is neat and clean. We have confidence our electrical issue has been adequately repaired and at a very fair price. Knowing we were anxious about the situation he could have charged much more but his price was quite fair. We are very pleased and Glad to recommend True Fuse Electric. Thanks Home Advisor for connecting us."

"Very professional group of people, I had a floor replaced, tile layed, and a back door replaced. 5 star all the way, from price, to completion of the jobs, the men were here working, and working hard, til job was completed. Never late to start, and even worked late in the evening. I will definitely call them again. Thank You!"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Choctaw, flickering lights during storms, warm outlets or switches, and GFCI outlets that trip in humid conditions can signal bigger issues. Frequent breaker trips, burning odors, or dimming lights when large appliances start suggest your system may be overloaded. If your home has aluminum wiring or an outdated breaker panel, address these signs promptly to prevent more serious electrical hazards.

Helpful?

In Choctaw, electrical work can impact interconnected systems like your HVAC, well pump, or security equipment, especially if you’re modifying your breaker panel or adding new circuits. Homes with older panels—common in the area—often require upgrades that may temporarily disrupt power to multiple systems. Before starting, map out how your electrical wiring supports appliances, smart devices, and outdoor features to avoid unexpected interruptions.

Helpful?

For successful electrical projects in Choctaw, confirm if permits or inspections are needed and plan work around seasonal weather to minimize delays. Coordinate with your utility provider for any service interruptions. Always check for underground lines before digging. Choose a contractor familiar with local codes, request multiple quotes, and clarify the project scope to ensure your breaker panel or circuit upgrades meet your needs.

Helpful?

For electrical maintenance in Choctaw, keep a non-contact voltage tester, GFCI outlet tester, and a flashlight for outages. Stock weatherproof outlet covers and electrical sealant to protect against rain and humidity. Surge protectors are vital due to frequent storms. Maintain spare GFCI outlets, wire nuts, and a basic repair kit for quick fixes, along with emergency lighting and a battery-powered radio for extended outages.

Helpful?

In Choctaw, attic wiring and outdoor circuits often require attention due to heat and storms. Kitchens and bathrooms may need circuit upgrades or GFCI outlets for modern appliances. Garage and workshop spaces frequently demand additional outlets or surge protection. If your home was built before 1990, consider evaluating your main breaker panel and wiring to ensure everything remains safe and compliant with current standards.
