They will bill you and your insurance even after the job is finished and you have been final invoiced. As another reviewer said the invoices don't state the work that is done, only terms like "code items or Roof items" so its impossible to confirm they did what they said they would do. They will supplement your insurance to fix their own mistakes. When you bring it up they ignore you and drag their feet hoping you give up, or send "professionals" out to tell you their work is great. For me personally this led to over 7 thousand dollars in roof damage on a "brand new roof" as well as needing to replace windows and siding due to them dragging out patchwork repairs for almost 2 years. Almost $15,000 dollars later its a BIG NO FROM ME DAWG. Updated to add: Photos of unresolved damages from Universal Builders-this is AFTER they sent someone out 3 or 4 times to fix the wood rot! Then when I made a review on yelp the owner's wife tried to bury it calling it fake and making a fake review herself. How much more dishonest could a company be! Do yourself a favor and use literally anyone else. I can't tell you how much sleep I've lost over this, not worth the damage to my home and didn't get what was promised. These photos do not even begin to cover the amount of things this company initially shingled over. i could keep going but just do yourself a favor and do your research and pick a different company."
