"We have been in regular communications to resolve your concerns. Although this was not a warranty issue, as confirmed by the manufacturer’s inspection, our goal is to make our customers happy. Even though the roof was installed correctly, we replaced your roof at no charge the second time in an effort to resolve your issues. We stand behind the quality of the work. In reference to the gutters damaged, we did not take precautions to protect the old ones as we were going to replace the gutters, thus it was not necessary to protect them. Please contact us directly to discuss further if needed."

"As you know we take photos throughout the whole process and share them with you. We've actually discussed the board(s) and you were sent photos of the ones in question from the exterior after the shingles were removed. Your cracked board you see from the inside is/was not cracked all the way through to the outside, this is a process that is called "checking" and it causes no harm to your roof decking since it's not entirely through and it runs side to side where your trusses support the 1x wood. With the "holes", those are naturally in your 1x deck boards, they are knots. When shingles are applied and being nailed into the deck boards, the nails can loosen them and cause them to fall out, this is what happened with your roof. Again we have our before pictures that clearly show there were no large holes in your deck boards. Your question about replacement is valid and what you were told, was that we replaced what was visible from the outside and what was necessary. We do not replace all deck boards because that is not necessary. Your permit was not intentional, if you look at your City's Building Department Website in the Fall of 2017 when we did your roof it was not clear that you needed a permit and there wasn't permit applications on line. Once we knew that this was required, we immediately rectified the situation where we obtained the permit, showed them all of our photos and yours with the checked wood and knot holes. The Chief Building Inspector reviewed, approved and said that it was perfectly fine, normal and there was nothing wrong. I believe he also told me that your roof was inspected and it was in good order. In addition, we are a Platinum Contractor and we pride ourselves in taking care of our customers. We never claim to be perfect but we do take our customers concerns seriously. You met with our Production Manager and he said that he left that if you wanted the 2 boards replaced, we would do so. To date, 7 months later we have not had that request from you. Even though we know there isn't anything inherently wrong with the boards I will have my office reach out to you this week to see if we can accommodate you. Keep in mind, you have a Platinum Warranty with your roof, workmanship is covered at 100% for 25 years and materials are covered for 50 years at 100%."

"[Member Name Removed], Thank you for allowing us to assist you with your roof repair. We appreciate the opportunity to help! Let me know if there is ever anything that you ever need in the future. Andy"
"[Member Name Removed], Small repairs is how our company was built, we do them every day, to us they are just as important as complete roof projects. Can you let me know when your appointment was scheduled and can you let me know who you scheduled with at our office? We have a system that tracks all of our customer data base and appointments, I can’t even see you in our system at all, maybe it’s under another name? Also, our process is that when you schedule an appointment, the day before we will call to confirm that we will be there. If we do not get a customer we will leave a voice mail as long as we are able to do so. In addition, our Representatives call on the way to the appointment and still arrive even if we do not get an answer. I’d be happy to speak with you further, please email your contact information and I will call to discuss. You can email me at [email protected]."
