"Taylor and his crew were wonderful to work with. The fence was finished nicely and they cleaned up the site afterwards. I am very happy with how it turned out. Highly recommend Bullseye Fencing!"

"The Fence Guy, Keith, and his team, do great work. They've installed my privacy fence, added on to my fence, and also done a repair to a fence. He takes great pride in doing high quality work."

Customers say: Terrific value

"I waited a bit before posting a review as I wanted to see how things held up with settling. And boy am I glad I did! The fence is amazing and professionally done. Sturdy as it gets! Really clean and level. 3 gates which open and shut with hardly any effort. For what you are getting, the cost is a steal! I just purchased a new build and the builders didn't sod the full yard the first time around. They missed a back section they were unaware was part of our property. Johnson came out the day they were sodding to remove two panels and a post so they could get the tractor and equipment through. They later came back and reinstalled the panels and post within 15 minutes and we were back in business! Highly recommend Johnson if you plan on doing a fence. You get professional quality and customer service that is unbeatable!"

"TPM is an excellent company to do business with. They built my fence on the property just after I bought it so that I had a run for my dogs. Fence and three gates are very solid and one of them is large enough for my 48” riding mower. In other words the work they do is customized to your needs. They also built my 24’X 36’ workshop and I could not be happier with it. My only regret is that I did not have TPM pour the concrete slab as they would have done that work cheaper and the quality would have been far better. TPM just recently added a 10’X24’ lean to shed for my workshop so that I can now store my tractor out of the weather. There is nothing I would not trust TPM to do for me and I would give them the highest recommendation. Really good people doing excellent work!!!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Galvanized metal, vinyl, and composite fences are known to be the longest-lasting options, often surviving for over 30 years with proper care. Metal fences, including galvanized chain link and aluminum, can look great for decades because the galvanization process adds a protective coating that resists weather and pests. Similarly, vinyl and composite materials are resistant to pests and can withstand harsh weather for many years. In comparison, a typical wood fence lasts about 15 years, and a standard vinyl fence has a lifespan of 20 to 30 years.

Deer can crawl under a fence if it has a gap of around 6 inches or more. Make sure to close all gaps at the bottom of your fence to keep deer out, and the bottom of the material should be tightly secured, or the deer will push right through it. As an added benefit, closing shorter gaps at the bottom of a fence can also keep rabbits out of your yard.

Costs depend on material, labor, and additional features like gates or decorative elements.

In most cases, you will need a building permit to put up a vinyl fence, especially if the fence is sitting on or close to your property line. You can ask your local building department or  fence installation company if your fence project will require a permit. If so, you can expect it to cost between $20 and $60. Your fence installer should pull the permit for you. Building without a permit could eventually require you to pay again to remove the fence and reinstall it after getting the job approved.

Your wooden gate post hole should be a third to a half of the height of the post. Also, note that the diameter of the post hole should be three times the diameter of the post. You should set the post in concrete to ensure a long-lasting and durable post that will withstand the test of time.
