"Spending money on airduct cleaning might be one of my least favorite ways to spend money. One of those must do things for a home that is never fun. But Scott and his team made it as painless as possible. Scott was ON TIME, did a great job, explained everything, and was really professional. He gave me some advice on my airducts and even fixed a few bad areas another contractor botched. He also somehow got my dog who is afraid of men to let him pet her. Hire him!!"

A window AC unit is not completely silent. It’s never a good idea to run your AC without a filter, even just for a night. The filter defends your HVAC system from the dust, dirt, debris, and other grime in your home. Without a filter, those contaminants are more likely to get inside your system and potentially damage it. 

Most HVAC companies recommend against setting your AC below 70 as it could freeze up the system and cause more problems. Regardless of how hot it is outside, there is generally a 20 degree difference between the outside and inside temperatures, so even if it’s 100 degrees outside, your AC will likely not be able to cool your home to 70 degrees.
