"We worked with Daniel at Sembro to design our kitchen remodel. He was extremely helpful, flexible and budget conscious during the planning phase. Two days after demo, our kids got sent home from school and everyone was in quarantine. Needless to say this was a stressful time! Luckily, Sembro was able to continue on with the work. They do not use subcontractors and their workers are fantastic. They are all courteous, hardworking and timely. I felt like all of them cared about the project and the details being right. Another company wanted close to 100k to do what Sembro did for less and I don’t think quality was sacrificed the least. They removed a wall into our dining room and extended the kitchen making it much bigger. We added hardwood in the living and family rooms and refinished the existing hardwood. We kept the sink where it was but pretty much everything else was gutted. Because of The pandemic there were a few delays but that was not Sembros fault. Honestly, we absolutely love our kitchen and so does everyone else who sees it. We will definitely use Daniel and his team in the future to remodel our bathrooms. Great company to work with-even during a pandemic!"

"We found Custom Home Works (CHW) during an exhaustive contractor search for a master bathroom remodeling project. We interviewed most of the big name remodeling companies in the area but we were uncomfortable with the either the cost or the job supervision process. In CHW we found a boutique firm whose co-owners, Bill Maibach and Dave Walker, had over 20 years of experience and are with you from design to finish. They are a can do team and, but for a few items, did the complete “to the studs” remodel themselves. Having the owners on site actually doing the work is both highly unusual and very beneficial in making sure the remodel is being executed to plan. They were a pleasure to work with. We found them responsive and professional while delivering a very high quality finished project. I couldn’t recommend more highly."

"We hired Todd and his team to finish about 1000 sq ft of our basement. We are very happy with how the project turned out, they were very good about working with us to design the layout and finishes the way that we wanted them and had no problem making adjustments to the plan along the way. They made sure that we were closely involved during the process and were quick to fix any issues that arose making sure we were satisfied. The project took a little bit longer than planned but we were fine with that in the context of a pandemic. The project came out exactly how we envisioned and the price was fair. "We recently remodeled a 100 year-old Craftsman home. We initially discussed the project with Mose Troyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and advice. The project required replacing and replicating a considerable amount of the woodwork. Mose also modified the existing Shaker kitchen cabinets. Modifications included building new cabinets to match the existing ones. He also adjusted several cabinets while maintaining the original look of the cabinetry. Mose also completely built an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the Shaker style. He installed new baseboards and window trim. He rebuilt and repaired existing window trim in several other rooms. Mose integrated the repairs to the point that after painting no one could discern that the sill had been repaired. His work was flawless. In addition, he walled off a doorway and built a bookcase with enclosed shelves in the lower half. He installed 10 new doors with hardware in line with the original style of the home. He also installed two barn doors with hardware. He is conscientious and easy to work with. Without his creativity and craftsmanship the project would never have been as successful and we’re thrilled with the results. Without reservation, we highly recommend Mose for cabinetry/carpentry work."

"Greg recently completed a major remodeling project of our second floor, which included the complete renovation of our two second floor full bathrooms, replacement of existing doors, and replacement of all of our trim in all bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallway. Greg also constructed framing and drywall, and a new powder room in our basement which connects our finished half of our basement to an unfinished half of the basement. The bathroom work involved moving walls and significant plumbing modifications due to the total reconfiguration of both bathrooms. We could not be more thrilled with our experience with Greg. His attention to detail and communication with us was second to none. We hired a separate design firm to prepare drawings and specifications for the project. There were a handful of issues that were design related that Greg would quickly coordinate with both the designer and ourselves to resolve the issues. Greg also replaced framing and drywall in our finished basement in 2016 which went as smoothly as this project. I will definitely be recommending Greg to others we know planning a future remodeling project!"
