"Bill Maibach knows what he’s doing. We have a small, older (1940) Clintonville house and he was up to every challenge it presented – from plumbing to electrical to window and tile. Bill and his colleague, Dave, took our broken, tiny space and turned it into something clean, modern and functional. Not a day goes by without our family delighting in this new space – it’s just so pretty! Bill is a fountain of knowledge – he made helpful suggestions and every time we talked about the remodel, I learned something new. Ours was a relatively small job for his company, but he was so patient and took time to explain everything to me as this was my first ever remodel. He has seen it all - and even when faced with a rotting subfloor, crumbling wiring and ancient plumbing, he repaired, replaced and upgraded. We are a one-bathroom household, and Bill’s scheduling made sure that we were never without a toilet or water. Remodeling is a messy job, but the rest of our house stayed clean even through demolition work. I’m so pleased with Custom Home Works that I’ve asked them to remodel our kitchen in the spring."

"We hired Todd and his team to finish about 1000 sq ft of our basement. We are very happy with how the project turned out, they were very good about working with us to design the layout and finishes the way that we wanted them and had no problem making adjustments to the plan along the way. He built a prototype and came to the house to discuss and confirm design options before building it in his workshop (no mess at our house was a plus). Typical of an old house, the installation required custom fitting. He took his time and made sure every detail was right. It will look even better once we paint and make it the showcase of the room!"

"Greg recently completed a major remodeling project of our second floor, which included the complete renovation of our two second floor full bathrooms, replacement of existing doors, and replacement of all of our trim in all bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallway. Greg also constructed framing and drywall, and a new powder room in our basement which connects our finished half of our basement to an unfinished half of the basement. The bathroom work involved moving walls and significant plumbing modifications due to the total reconfiguration of both bathrooms. We could not be more thrilled with our experience with Greg. His attention to detail and communication with us was second to none. We hired a separate design firm to prepare drawings and specifications for the project. There were a handful of issues that were design related that Greg would quickly coordinate with both the designer and ourselves to resolve the issues. Greg also replaced framing and drywall in our finished basement in 2016 which went as smoothly as this project. I will definitely be recommending Greg to others we know planning a future remodeling project!"

When a minor concern arose (which is inevitable with construction on a house that is 100 years old!), it was addressed immediately. Chelsea designed both projects and thoroughly understood our vision. It was amazing that she was able to provide us with the exact layout, products and aesthetic we were looking for.
