Finished Basements Plus was wonderful from beginning to end! First, they came out quickly for an estimate. I had 4 estimates and theirs was by far the best. (2 of the estimates were more than $20K higher than for the exact same work). Beyond their fair pricing, the work was excellent. They started within 4 weeks. I have an old home, so plumbing and electric were not easy, But they handled it with ease. Tile work for the bar and shower are beautiful. Gorgeous cabinetry. Great carpet and flooring. Best part was that they did it all! No extra work for me. Everything was included, no surprise costs. Picking out selections was easy and quick. Anytime I called Todd with a question, he immediately called me back and took care of any minor issue. Everyone on the crew was kind and respectful. It added so much to our home! Great play space for the little one, guest suite for family, wonderful area to entertain. It is perfect!

Our basement needed a lot of attention due to past flooding. Todd made clear recommendations on how to proceed to ensure our finished basement would last. Thanks to his guidance and expertise and the diligent work of his team, we have a wonderful and comfortable space with a new bedroom, remodeled bathroom, new floors, and refurbished walls. I am posting this review again because I don’t know if it got posted and I wanted to say that our family is absolutely thrilled with the work that Todd and his team did on our basement!!!! We recently moved into a new house and needed a large, 1500 square foot basement finished. Todd helped design the perfect space which includes a separate room with a walk in closet, a full bath with tiled walls and floors and even a hide away play area for our kids!! The lighting and fixtures were great too!! We trusted Todd the whole way through and he did not disappoint one bit!! We didn’t have any problems or disagreements during the entire project!! Todd is very knowledgeable on basement finishing, was helpful during the design process and always answered any questions we had throughout the process. Several months ago we contracted with Finished Basements Plus (FBP) for a basement remodel. Prior to, we obtained estimates from several contractors. Some estimates were too high & offered little; others were too low with a lot of fee-based extras. We chose FBP because the price was fair, the quote was all inclusive and they used quality materials. Construction started on time as scheduled. Contractors arrived timely, each took time to explain their duty or responsibility in the project and always left the job site neat and clean. We were impressed with each contractor's attention to detail wanting everything to be almost perfect. FBP management team was knowledgeable and experienced. All necessary permits and paperwork were completed and the team wasn't happy until we were 100% satisfied. Owner, Todd Seeds, listened to our wants and desires and committed to a job "well done". We highly recommend Finished Basements Plus to anyone looking for a basement remodel.

I really enjoyed working with Todd and his team. We had a large unfinished basement and now we have a beautiful new finished basement to enjoy. The project was completed on time and within budget; no surprises everything went smooth. We interviewed other contractors that provided higher quotes and also did not seem to be as knowledgeable about the construction that would be involved. Todd provided us with guidance on the floor plan and made suggestions on where to logically and cost effectively design the rooms. His crew was trust worthy, clean and professional. We are very pleased with the quality and results and would recommend hiring Finished Basements Plus.

Todd got back to us right away! Priced around a couple of options and he was by far the most affordable AND it came with everything included we weren’t finding at other companies as everything became add on fees (permits, mirrors, etc). Todd kept in touch weekly and let me know when/who would be coming and all of the contractors were on time. Quality is great and they were able to replicate my new build materials from the first floor for a seamless transition in style. I would highly recommend , we love our new basement !

Todd and team did a fantastic job finishing our basement! We received several quotes and they were the best price. We are very happy with how the basement turned out. After the project was completed, we made a few mistakes when moving furniture around and Todd and team promptly came back to help out and fix the issues that we had made. Would definitely recommend.

Built an extra bedroom in the basement with an egress window

It was finished on time and turned out to be nicer than we expected. The end result is that it looks like it was done by the original builders of our home. The project moved seamlessly through the various stages to completion and the few small things that needed to be addressed were responded to quickly, We would definitely recommend Todd and his crew for any project.

Finished Basements Plus Inc. completed the project within their given timeline, came in on budget (no hidden costs-the cost was the estimate given at the beginning of the job), and the finished project met our expectations.

They did a great job! The finished product looks amazing. I am mostly impressed with the crew (many are employees), the detailed craftsmanship and even their conscientious clean up. The owner, Todd, coordinated the project and had things moving so quickly. As with any remodeling projects, schedules are up in the air- Todd had our project finished in just a few weeks and with fairly good coordination of his crew.

We hired Todd and his team to finish about 1000 sq ft of our basement. We are very happy with how the project turned out, they were very good about working with us to design the layout and finishes the way that we wanted them and had no problem making adjustments to the plan along the way. They made sure that we were closely involved during the process and were quick to fix any issues that arose making sure we were satisfied. The project took a little bit longer than planned but we were fine with that in the context of a pandemic. The project came out exactly how we envisioned and the price was fair. Todd was great to work with and had no problem coming out after the project was finished to help with a couple items after the fact.

Todd has a professional team to do the job and can customize with some wood crafting for you if you state it out from the beginning. i will recommend you make up the plan of what you want and draw a layout plan and tell Todd everything you want so he knows all the expectation. We build a bed room with bunk bed and barn doors in the basement with beautiful egress window. It roughly takes 3.5 mo to finish it but it is well worth the wait. after the basement is finished, I pretty much feel like I bought a new home or move into a new home.

The job was done as discussed. They were very professional and well priced because I got several quotes. A big thank you to Todd for overseeing the project. Would definitely recommend them to my family and friends!

We started this project just before the state mandated a stay at home order due to COVID-19 so I knew it was going to be a lengthy process. The communication was good throughout the project. If I had to reach out to them I usually received a call back within 24 hours. I would say there was less than five times I expected someone to work on my basement for the day and no one showed up. It was understandable with the current state of the times. If something was not done to our standard we would collaborate with the project manager to come up with a solution we could all accept. Given the opportunity to pick a company to finish my basement, I would choose them again.

Todd and his team did a great job! All of his workers are polite, respectful, and very skilled. From the first quote to the very last day of work, they were great to work with. My husband had a special request for custom built in display cases. He drew them up and worked with the carpenters to make them a reality. They look amazing! They also helped brainstorm around a walk-in wine storage area for us and that also looks very slick. The team asked a lot of questions throughout to make sure they were building things as we desired, or presented options to us at certain points in the process to decide between. It was a real benefit to have that flexibility vs being forced to decide things up front when you can't totally imagine the finished product. Deciding as you saw some things coming together was great. The price was reasonable and I felt we got more value from them vs others we interviewed. Highly recommend!

The project went great even with COVID going on. All of Todd and Brian’s workers wore masks, were very respectful, and did great work. Very happy with the project.

After Receiving quotes from 4 companies, we went with Finished Basements Plus. Not only did they offer the best price, but also included all permits and quality features such as metal framing without us having to ask. Todd, Brian, and their crews were great to deal with throughout the whole project. If getting the job done right for a great price are your priorities (and not speed), these guys are a great choice. We plan on hiring them again to remodel our master bathroom.

We couldn't be happier with how our basement looks! Brian and Todd were easy to work with and also flexible. We ended up adding a fireplace and barn door mid project. Todd accommodated our needs with out any problems and both additions turned out great. It might have took longer than I expected, but the quality of the workmanship was worth it. All the people Todd has working for him are professional and did excellent work. Having contractors in the house for weeks, when you aren't home most the time, it's important to have that level of professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to others. The pricing was also another selling point when shoping around for highly reviewed basement remodeling services.
