"I contracted with Plumb Tite to fix\replace my current basement sump pump system and also take care of a leak from my 1st floor shower drain. They sent out a representative (Sara) who did a thural job of assessing the situation and offered me a few options to best suit my requirements. I selected the most complete option. For the Sump system, I elected to have a battery backup with 2 pumps installed. I also needed to have the Sump discharge re-piped and checked, making sure it was working without any obstructions. Dustin and Brandon arrived at my residence at the arranged time and commenced working on the project. They kept me apprised of the progress throughout the morning. They both were very professional and respective of the current social distancing practices that are in place because of COVID 19. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and all debris were cleaned up nicely. Dustin and Brandon debriefed me on all the work done, explained the operation of the new sump system and proved the associated manuals. Brandon also made it a point to let me know the details of the warranted work and materials. I was happily surprised that the coverage was so great and really feel that Plumb Tite is serious about doing great work at a reasonable cost. Lastly I was contacted a day after the work by Betty, who wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work that was completed. She also communicated how Plumb Tite stands behind their work and excels at customer service. I am convinced that is true. I can now understand why Plumb Tite has so many great reviews of their work. I would recommend them for any plumbing project\repair that they cover (which is a lot). Check out their web site if you want to know more ([*** Link removed ***]"

"Britton showed up on time and performed quality work replacing an aging gas line. They walked me through the testing process and we tested the pool heater together. I recommend Britton, especially if you want to hire a local small business for your plumbing needs."

"Very pleased that Dustin told us about the water heater and electric pump. It was a bit more expensive but it all turned out to be well worth it. So glad we went with that."

"After getting multiple quotes, and discussions with each company, I decided to go with Logan Services to replace our heat pump. Our salesman, DeAndre was the main reason we went with Logan. He is very sharp, confident and wanted to ensure we had the right product for our home. Everything DeAndre stated was carried out by our installers, Travis and Garrett. This included reviewing their checklist to make sure I knew what was occurring before, during and after installation. No issues or concerns with the installation. Both installers were on time, experienced and knew their stuff. We purchased a 4 Ton heat pump and everything was removed and replaced (including some sheet metal work) the same day. If you want to work with a professional company, I would definitely recommend Logan Services."
Logan A/C & Heat Services offered value, competitive pricing, top of the line Trane equipment, nice financing options that other companies did not offer. Dan was my sales rep that offered the above services. Bobby was the installer & was professional & did a great job. Install was scheduled on a Monday after I committed on a Friday; so very quick! Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

A sewage ejector pump is necessary if you have any plumbing fixtures, such as a bathroom, laundry room, or sink, located below the level of your home's main sewer line. Standard plumbing relies on gravity to drain wastewater and solid waste into the municipal sewer system or a septic tank. For fixtures below this level, like those in a basement, gravity cannot move the waste upward. The ejector pump provides the force needed to pump the sewage up to the main line. Without one, wastewater from below-ground fixtures would back up, potentially causing a sewage overflow and flooding. If all of your plumbing is on the main floor or higher, gravity is sufficient and an ejector pump is not needed.

If you have a self-cleaning washing machine but you’re still seeing lint, your water pump filter might be clogged. To clean it, you should unscrew the drain hose, then remove the water pump filter. From there, you can inspect it and clean it with warm water before replacing it. Check to be sure your washing machine is functioning by running a short cycle.

Most sump pumps come with power cords that can be plugged into an outlet, but there are options that can be hardwired into a home’s electrical system. Either way, it’s smart to have a backup power supply in case the electricity goes out during a storm. That way, the sump pump can keep running and removing water from the sump pit.

There are several indicators that your washing machine’s drain pump is bad, including incomplete cycles, water not draining, lack of spinning, a foul odor when the machine is running, and a loud grinding or buzzing noise when the pump is trying to move water down the drain.

To test for toilet leaks, use water coloring in the water tank and see if the water slips into the bowl from the tank. This test will indicate if there’s a problem with the flapper or refill tube. You can also put water coloring in the bowl of the toilet to see if there is a leak there. If there is, you should see the colored water on the outside of the toilet bowl or on the floor.
