"The biggest obstacle was scheduling.  The Angie's List confirmation email did not include the instruction to schedule on the Flow-Rite web site.  It took 3 or 4 emails to clarify that which delayed getting the work scheduled. 
The replacement parts worked fine with the exception of some excess plastic on the valve which prevented a tight seal and thus lead to a running toilet.  It took a few minutes with the razor blade to cut the excess off and allowed the seal to form properly.  This probably should have been done by the installer.

"Alan was running late, but he called to inform us and asked if it was OK to still come out. He not only did the contracted work quickly and neatly, he found 2 other problems with our sink and asked if we wanted him to fix those also. Everything was done beautifully and our kitchen was perfectly clean when he left. The cost was just what he estimated. We were very happy with everything."

"I was having a dishwasher installed by Best Buy but the installer couldn't get the old dishwasher out because the tile flooring was too high. The installer requested I have some tiles removed. I called Cincinnati Handyman Services based on prior reviews. I explained what I needed to Eric and he asked some questions. We set up an appointment. When he arrived he had all the equipment needed to remove tile. But he first took a look at the dishwasher. After some effort he was able to remove the kickplate at the bottom of the machine and move it up and over the tile. This meant no tile removal and no need for Eric to come back to replace the tile. I asked him about the hydraulic closer on my storm door. I'd taken it off because it kept coming loose. He was able to get it back on (with stronger screws than I'd used). The bill for all this was $100 less than Eric had quoted on the phone. I'm very happy to have had two jobs done AND to save money. I'll be calling Eric again for help with those jobs I can't take on myself."

"Excellent job!  Purchased an Angie's list super deal of 2 hours of plumbing for $160.  These guys did an amazing job!  Removing my old water softner was complicated; it was full of salt, water, and the emergency drain was missing.  The water softner was in a utility closet, and right outside the closet was carpeting.  When everything was all said and done, you couldn't tell they had even been there.   Actually, you could tell they had been there because they cleaned where water had been leaking from the old water softner onto the concrete floor, fixed some drain lines, secured my water line to the ceiling, and secured an electrical power strip...I didn't even ask them to address those issues.  Couldn't be happier with my experience!  Also, I figured I would be responsible for disposing of my old water softner and I was wrong, they loaded it into their van and disposed of it for me.

"Millennium was very professional and fairly priced. This is our 3rd clog in our sink, and our 3rd provider to fix it. If it happens again, we'll definitely call Millennium again. Was able to schedule very quickly, and service was done in less than an hour! Didn't try to up-sell me, or add on additional charges, which happened with both the other services. Was informed that Millennium also provides additional contractor services for which I will definitely look into in the future.

"Jeff came over for an evaluation within a few days and provided an estimate within 2 weeks from the first call. He replaced three rotted wooden exterior panels with 1/4” rot free PVC sheets and added a trim to make them look even better than before. Microwave installation was straightforward. He was conscious about in keeping the kitchen clean."

"This would have gone pretty well except that when John (son of Henry) came to look at the job he told me that they would save and replant the bushes and plants that would have be removed to make their initial hole at the curbside city water connection (about 2'x 6' on surface). This was necessary to allow their underground-pipe installer to reach the depth required. When it came to "replacing" the plants, all they did was dig some holes in what was now a clay surface, pick up the plants with what topsoil balls remained around their roots and put them in the holes, doing little else to properly replant them. I have had to get my landscaper out to finish the job. They did do a very nice job of connecting the new copper water line to the house waterline in the basement and cleaned up well. City inspector checked both ends and was satisfied. Bottom line: if this installation had not had to start in our street-side garden, but maybe just in our lawn, I would have been happier with the results."
