"I found Plumb Tite in a google search and called them. They are the most professional company that I have ever worked with. Austin and John both worked extremely hard to solve my drain problem and made sure everything was clean and to my liking before they left. I highly recommend them."

"The company was great they were able to get a lot of recovery on my foundation for my garage that has been sliding down a hill for years. They used the helical pier method which raised and supported the foundation. Really impressed with the experience it came out great."

"Iran H, Chris M and Floyd C were the service people from Ohio Basement Authority who repaired a leaning concrete block foundation wall in the basement and installed a sump pump. They did excellent, considerate work and I would recommend them for a similar project."

"Over the past 2 years our front porch has been pulling away from our house and sliding off of the porch pier. This was due to the excessively dry weather in which the ground the porch was sitting contracted, and moved the porch. The first year I had 3 slab-jacking companies give estimates; none could push the porch back, or guarantee that the porch would not move again. This year, I contacted 3 concrete contractors (I had only 2 respond to make appointments) to evaluate repouring the porch and secure it to the foundation. Both contractors were professional and could repour the porch and secure it the porch pier with rebar. I had a couple reasons I picked Kevin. First, he gave me a detailed explanation of what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Second, was his price. He asked $400 less than the other contractor. Even if the other contractor was comparable in price, I still would pick Kevin from Pioneer construction due to his knowledge and his ability to convey confidence with his work."

"Our salesman Tyler was personable, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions and was able to give us a price that worked for us. The installation crew was just as nice, led by Michael they were courteous and timely. Overall we are satisfied and grateful to have worked with them."
Logan A/C & Heat Services offered value, competitive pricing, top of the line Trane equipment, nice financing options that other companies did not offer. Dan was my sales rep that offered the above services. Bobby was the installer & was professional & did a great job. Install was scheduled on a Monday after I committed on a Friday; so very quick! "Charged me more than $200 to fix shower drain and install new sink faucet. First tech charged $150 for an assessment but fixed nothing. When I complained, manager sent a 2nd tech who was competent and professional to complete work. Quoted prices are excessive (lump sum) giving impression work is more difficult than it really is. Recommend you find a local, independent plumber who would charge an hourly rate $100-150/hr seems a more than reasonable rate."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Whether professional drainage installation is covered by insurance depends on your specific policy and the circumstances. In some cases, homeowners insurance may cover the cost if drainage problems pose a risk to your home's foundation or structural integrity. However, it's essential to review your insurance policy, understand the terms and conditions, and consult with your insurance provider to determine if your particular situation qualifies for coverage. Coverage may vary, so it's crucial to clarify the details with your insurer.

Proper drainage prevents water damage, mold growth, and foundation settling, protecting your home’s structural integrity.

The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.

If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500 and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.

Costs range from $2,000 to $7,000, depending on system type and excavation requirements.

Thankfully, you do have a few sump pump backup options in case it fails. One option is a battery-powered backup sump pump. Another option is using a portable backup generator as a power supply for your sump pump. Unlike a battery-powered backup which has limited power, a generator can run around the clock for as long as you need it.

Or you can opt for a water-powered backup pump, which uses your home’s water supply as a source of power. However, this may not be the best option if you find your house frequently has low water pressure.
