"Canâ t say enough good things about this company. We bought our home with a known water infiltration problem. They not only alleviated and redirected the water from our foundation, they waterproofed the interior and exterior foundation walls, as well as addressed the block walls cracks and bowing. Better yet their service comes with a lifetime guarantee for the life of the home transferable to the next home owner. Recommend them to anyone looking for foundation and waterproofing services. 2nd to none."

"I found Plumb Tite in a google search and called them. They are the most professional company that I have ever worked with. Austin and John both worked extremely hard to solve my drain problem and made sure everything was clean and to my liking before they left. I highly recommend them."

"The work that was provided was performed promptly and the crew leader was responsible and offered some extra interior drain lines due to the fact that the crawl space was extremely open making it very easy to do their work. They did the extra exterior drain line installation per the contract footage pricing to take the sump line to the street curb. very quickly and appearing to be quite well done. The testing of the sump action when they added water to the interior sump pit showed a quick deposit of water into the street. However, I am still seeing evidence of water in the CMU surfaces above elevation of the new interior drain line that was installed. I assume this to indicate that something should have been done at the wall exterior to take water away from the foundation (probably the J-channel installation)."

"Iran H, Chris M and Floyd C were the service people from Ohio Basement Authority who repaired a leaning concrete block foundation wall in the basement and installed a sump pump. They did excellent, considerate work and I would recommend them for a similar project."

"Had Betts Structural Engineering come and look at the foundation of a house we were in contract on. Josh came out and was professional and informative. He informed us the foundation was failing and explained what needed to be done. He throughly explained everything and told us how we could do it ourselves for much cheaper than a contractor could do it. In the end he saved us from a long and expensive process if we proceeded with the house."

"I had a slow running drain and a sewer line backup problem. Eco Plumbers sent their employee, Mike Anderson, who came and fixed everything right away. He was very professional and thorough in every way, and we are very pleased with the results. I would recommend Eco Plumbers and their employee, Mike Anderson, to anyone having the same problems that I had. The price was most reasonable. Thank you, Mike, for a job well done."

"Over the years (37), the portion of the cement walk leading to my porch has dropped several inches so that the step up was beyond that required by code. Kevin had his crew take out the section of the walk and replace it with a section that had a base down to the clay to stabilize it. Also, a step was added to ease the approach to the porch. All the work was done while I was out of town and all was finished and cleaned up when I returned. Everything was done as we had discussed and on the day promised. This is the second large project I've had Kevin do for me. He previously installed a beautiful replacement cement patio. He has always been easy to talk to and to discuss the way to proceed. The men on his crew are very polite and careful, professional workers.

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can install a sump pump yourself. By following the steps above, you can have a sump pump installed in 24 hours. You will have to use some advanced tools and techniques, so if you feel uneasy about taking it on yourself, it’s best to hire a professional.

Signs include persistent dampness, mold or mildew presence, musty odors, and visible water stains. If any of these occur, it is advisable to contact a professional for an inspection.

There are several things you can do to maintain your sump pump and prevent sump pump problems. For instance, keeping a lid on your sump pit goes a long way in protecting your pump system from silt, sand, dirt, and other debris. When water drains from the outside, such as along your foundation, or with melting snow, water runoff often brings sediment with it.

Also be wary of corrosion, particularly if your sump pump system is made of metal. Keep an eye out for rust and have it inspected regularly by a plumber or sump pump technician.

Yes, many contractors offer warranties for their work. Confirm terms before starting the project.

The cost of installing landscape drainage with the help of a professional can vary widely depending on factors like the scope of the project, your location, and the specific services needed. Smaller tasks, such as installing a French drain, may range from $10 to $50 per linear foot, while more extensive projects like installing a catch basin can cost several thousand dollars to tens of thousands. Obtaining multiple quotes from qualified professionals is recommended to get a precise estimate for your specific drainage issue.
