"It was a difficult job; blasting an 1850s exterior doorframe and original chimney. They tried a variety of blasting methods in order to scar the wood as little as possible and finally decided to use a heat gun, which worked well ,Shawn and his foreman kept going until I was satisfied with the job. They even stayed an extra day to finish properly."

He also painted the hall (and the rear entry hall and an interior hall) and painted our front door, which had been black, to a lovely shade of green.
