Customers say: True professional

"That was very good. I've used them a couple of times. They were prompt getting here. We scheduled the date. They did good work. They matched the texture of my stucco. Matching the colors is more difficult and it doesn't really match but we'd planned to paint the house anyway. Stucco work has been very good. They repaired the stucco and did a very good job. They did a nice job on it. We scheduled it and they were responsive and got here in time and did the work."

Small jobs welcome

"Cerrato Home Remodeling did an outstanding job in repairing the stucco in several areas on our house. They were quick with scheduling and very efficient in their work. Communication from Irma was excellent throughout the entire process. We were very pleased with the quality of the stucco work and are having them back to install stone veneer and do exterior painting. We would highly recommend this company."

"They did the job about a week later than estimated as I recall but I had told them I was flexible as long as it was done before winter. The job was professionally done and I did not have to be here when they did it. The roughness of the stucco is a bit more than the original but I did not expect it to match exactly. They cleaned up well and I was very satisfied"

"Jody Plant Masonry did a complete chimney rebuilt. Jody, the owner, answered all my questions I had throughout the project. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. All the workers were polite and each and every day cleaned up after themselves. Anytime there was any type off issue, Jody was on it and had it taken care of right away. The final product looks great, and I would definitely use Jody 's company again in the future and would refer him to others. Also, the cost of the project was very competitive and fair."

"Jim & Ben were on it... and the den now looks great! It was a dark worn wood look and now it's fresh and beautiful! Fantastic job! Jim recommended (in changing dark wood to a light color) to caulk all cracks and that was a tremendous suggestion. Everything was sprayed and they used Sherwin Williams Emerald paint...the primer and new coats of paint are smooth, even and very professionally done...really awesome! Jim even came back after the job was completed to touch-up and make it extra nice! Please, take our advise, get a quote from Jim BEFORE you give the job out...you won't be disappointed:)"

"Always on time and completed project ahead of schedule. They took time to caulk outside around the window frames and repaired walls and woodwork prior to painting. Also removed wallcovering in the dining room and bathrooms. House looks phenomenal ! Would definitely hire them again."

"I contacted Mike Umphlettee in late March to get an estimate for what work would be required and the cost involved for termite damage I had suffered last summer.  Mike performed a very careful evaluation and discovered the majority of the damage under my crawlspace.  I was shocked when Mike uncovered some of the eaten wood on the structural components of the house.  The visible damage on the outside of the house was minimal and mostly cosmetic. After the shock of how badly my house was damaged, I had many questions about how Mike and his crew would go about repairing the home.  He explained the procedure he would employ to raise the house to expose and correct the damaged wood.  He provided a written proposal within a few days.
Sections of the house had to be exposed after work would begin, so we agreed to wait until the weather warmed.  When the work began most of the deck was disassembled, a broad section of stucco had to be removed to expose the underlying structural damage.  The house was jacked up to support it while all damaged wood was replaced.  Careful attention was paid to the casement window which I wanted preserved. The frame reinforcement the crew used was, I think, stronger than that of the original house construction.  My last concern was that the stucco should match the rest of the house to conceal all the work that was required.  It was a concern I expressed to Mike at the outset of the project.  The stucco work was done excellently, the texture matching the original perfectly.
Rising Height and I were both frustrated by the very rainy weather this year but in the end I could not have been happier with the work that was performed. This is an extremely competent company employing craftsman that know and love their jobs. I'm glad they didn't tire of my endless questions. It is a company I will use for future needs and one that I recommend to friends and neighbors."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Damage is often caused by moisture, impact, or settling. Regular maintenance prevents significant issues.

Homeowners insurance may cover the cost of siding repair or replacement, but coverage depends on the cause of the damage. Most policies will cover damage from a covered event, such as a storm, wind, hail, fire, natural disaster, or other impact damage. Your policy might pay for the full or partial cost of the repair or replacement. However, damage resulting from age, general wear and tear, or neglect is typically not covered, and you should expect to pay for those repairs out of pocket. It is best to review your specific homeowners insurance policy for full details on what is covered, how to file a claim, and what documentation is required.

Costs range from $500 to $2,000, depending on the damage size and texture matching.

The cost to replace the chimney crown or top is about $1,550 on average. The range varies widely depending on the size of the chimney, the materials used, accessibility, and the extent of the damage. If you suspect a problem with your chimney top, call a professional masonry contractor for an inspection.

Stucco is durable, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance, making it a popular choice for exterior finishes.
