"Wow! These men do amazing work. Called them yesterday, courteously answered the phone right away, came the next morning, right on time, got the whole job done by four. Extremely hard-working, friendly, meticulous workers. I got their name from Angie's list."

"First, Sistaz-n-action cleans my home meticulously every time!  I'm extremely satisfied with their cleaning services.  However. my  primary reason for writing this review is to give them a 2-thumb's up for the redecorating work Joi did to my home!! With a very limited budget and by repurposing items I already own Joi took me from unfinished, dated and blah to OMG BLAM!...BLAMBLAM!  Seriously though, I had a vision of what I wanted and was trying to achieve and Joi hit the nail on the head every time.  Everything from paint colors to pillows and accessories to window coverings was my vision, not hers, and it was perfect.  I hope this isn't a trade secret but I loved coming home to doors that were closed, indicating some decorating wonderfulness had happened on the other side!  Great job Sistaz-n-action.  I would definitely recommend Joi...for cleaning AND redecorating.

"A+ service from the Integrity team. Lots of items needed moved to the basement. Also offered and moved existing washer/dryer from basement out to the garage so I could sell these items. Very nice to work."

"I had new furniture delivered to me, and my old furniture hauled away. Jean was very professional. Punctual, extremely friendly, funny, and very careful. He unboxed and unwrapped my furniture to inspect it for me, hauled away the trash and my old furniture. I would only go thru Destin Express for all my future hauling and delivery needs"
Heavier than expected, but the job was done quick and easy.
We wait patiently, at the store, making sure everything goes well.
That place was so much bigger without the clutter. You’re welcome!
This machine was in a super tight spot but we got it out.
Medium-sized office desk from Office First Solutions. Wasn’t easy but very possible, so we got it done!

"5 Stars isn’t enough for this company! I can’t recommend this company enough! Over the past two days, he helped clear out so much junk from my house, and I am beyond impressed with his work. Not only did he get the job done efficiently, but he was also incredibly flexible with me changing my mind multiple times while trying to get everything in order. He handled it all with patience and professionalism, which I truly appreciated. What really stood out was how genuine he is—he’s not just there to do a job; he actually cares. He went above and beyond, even helping with a few unexpected issues around the house that came up along the way. For a one-man job, his execution and time management were outstanding. If you need someone reliable, hardworking, and just an all-around great person to work with, Tigerpaw hauling and junk removal is the way to go. I’ll definitely be using his services again if the time comes! 10/10 would recommend and support again!"

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

On average, a garbage disposal can last anywhere from 7 to 12 years, with many models functioning well for about 10 years. With heavy usage, a motor may last a minimum of five years, while grinding plates will wear down over time. It's generally a good idea to consider a replacement if your unit is approaching the 10-year mark. Other signs that it's time for a new disposal include frequent leaks, persistent clogs, lingering odors, lack of power, or unusual noises. If your unit is not that old, it's worth investigating if a less expensive part, like a rubber seal or a loose hose, is causing the issue.

The most common garbage disposal size in the U.S. is 1/2 horsepower. This size is ideal for households with three or fewer people or those that don't produce much food waste. Although 1/2 horsepower can't handle the typical food waste load for a household of four (which is about 250 pounds of food waste annually) as effectively as 3/4 horsepower, it remains the most common size of garbage disposal on the market.

In some cases, it’s more cost-effective in the long run to replace a garbage disposal, but it depends on the specific issue you’re having and the age of your disposal. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.

If the cost of repairing a leaking garbage disposal is close to the cost of replacing the disposal, then fixing the unit might not make sense. When deciding if you should repair or replace your garbage disposal, consider the age of your garbage disposal, the cost of the repair, and whether your garbage disposal has had other problems recently to help you decide if the cost of repairing the leak is better than the cost of replacing the disposal.

No, you do not need a garbage disposal to have a dishwasher. A dishwasher will work without one, and while it's rare to see a home with a dishwasher that doesn't have a disposal, it is possible. The two appliances pair well and are often installed together because a disposal simplifies meal cleanup.

However, your dishwasher should not be used as a replacement for a garbage disposal. Subjecting it to continuous food leftovers can lead to major clogs. If you choose not to install a garbage disposal, you should thoroughly rinse your plates or scrape excess food into the trash or a compost pile before loading them into the dishwasher to prevent plumbing issues.
