"Because I just had these rods installed a few days ago (and now it's Nov 26, 2021) I haven't had enough time to evaluate the work quality and value - but I have no reason to doubt that both are good. I priced materials for this job, as I originally planned to install themselves, but when I realized that I truly didn't want to get up on the roof of my house (which is quite high) or to get on the roof of my barn (metal, thus slippery) I decided to hire the pros. So that I am very happy with and of course it therefore cost more than it would have if I had done the job myself - but it was safer for me, and also much quicker than I would have been. "Great experience.  The provider (John) showed up on the scheduled morning and was very open to all of the jobs I needed done.  
I had pre-paid for 6 hours labor.  Materials that were needed were extra but nominal and he went to the store to pick them up. The planned tasks that were accomplished included fix drywall in a small area in basement ceiling; re-mortar a brick that had been knocked off retaining wall; replace rotten piece of wood on back of house; replace latches on fence gate; fix a squeaky lazy-susan, and straighten bird feeder.  He focused on the tasks and there was time left for him to replace several boards in the landscaping steps.
You never know what you'll get when you buy a pre-paid deal but this worked out extremely well and I would definitely call them again in the future.
