"David Underhill and his crew were great to work with from the start. We began by hiring Gayle Fraser to design our backyard project and ODB implemented that design. Bid was not the lowest I received out of four but was close. We went with ODB because of their reputation/reviews and the engagement we had with them as we reviewed our options. They didn’t disappoint. There were a few design items we adapted during construction which improved the end product but didn’t lead to cost surprises. David expertly managed the various subcontractors (his crew - Manuel was awesome, electric, plumbing for gas line, stone masons). The only thing I’d advise prospective clients is that ODB is in high demand and they will probably have to wait some months before the project begins because other clients are ahead of them when they sign the contract. For us, it was better to go with the best option for quality of work rather than who could get it done sooner."

I was blown away by the amount of work he achieved in a short period of time, and even more impressed that there was no need for touchups afterward (although he offered to come back with no added cost if anything were to arise). He assessed the work to be done, gave feedback on any potential hiccups that could arise, and made me feel entirely comfortable throughout the entire process with clear communication.
