"Honestly - the worst experience ever. TLDR: two faulty installs by the company caused $10,000 damage in our basement and made our basement completely unusable for 9 months. They did our basement in 2020. When a contractor worked in the basement in 2024, he found water everywhere. Ohio State Waterproofing admitted they installed their very expensive waterproofing system incorrectly. We had $10,000 worth of damage because of their faulty install. They said they would redo the system but would NOT pay for the $10,000 damage their faulty install caused. Then to make matters worse, when we went to install our carpet months later (the concrete has to cure), the concrete came up in chunks - Ohio State Waterproofing did a FAULTY INSTALL NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. Our basement was completely unusable for months while the concrete cured AGAIN. Again, they redid the waterproofing a third time but made no effort to compensate us for our unusable basement or stress because of their terrible company."

"After checking out our system, they said that we would either, a new pump, the well pilled and an in-well pump put in place, or we would have to have a new well drilled. they installed a new indoor pump, still didn't work. They came back the next day, started to pull the well, and discovered that one of the pipes going into the well was severely corroded and was leaking. that part was repaired and the system was working once again. They saved us a lot of money by being so conscientious and diligent. The young man who did the work was deeply knowledgable about wells and how they work. We highly recommend this company and we will definitely use them again if needed."

"Paul and his crew redesigned and replaced my entire septic system today. Those guys were great! They where professional and efficient. Paul set up everything from getting the permit to having it inspected. He didn’t leave until the last bit of dirt was backfilled. "Worst experience ever---honestly! Homeowner beware! To start, Buckeye Waterproofing did not obtain a permit from the city as required. This one thing immediately stopped work after a day or so and significantly delayed completion. Buckeye used sub contractors when they promised, at least before a contract was signed and they had a down payment of our money, that they wouldn't. Buckeye would not pay one of the subcontractors, which in turn caused this subcontractor to request more money for the job from us and threaten to put a lien on our house. Buckeye did not deliver what was promised. Very sloppy work sealing the seam between the house and the driveway---black roofing tar was used and was hastily spattered everywhere, thick in some areas and thin in others. It is already wearing away, has holes in it and is leaking. Once this company gets you to commit with money, they think they've got you and they do whatever they want whenever they want however they want because they believe you won't go to anybody else because you are stuck with them once they have your floor/foundation jackhammered & opened up. Seriously consider this review. They even made an attempt 2x to collect final payment before work was comleted. I could go on...Truely the worst experience ever."
