"I am writing this review to inform prospective customers that Stay Dry Waterproofing Marysville is not what they portray on their website. Although Stay Dry has had good reviews from home improvement websites in the past, their current quality and customer service levels do not meet the good review comments they once received. I contracted with Stay Dry to clean up a mold problem I had in my basement and cracking problem I had on my front basement wall. I was told by the Stay Dry representative that they would dig down from the exterior of my home to the point where my exterior wall met my basement floor and would fill all cracks apparent on the exterior and interior wall. I was told this needed to be done in this manner to prevent water from seeping through the crack from the top of the wall to the bottom of the wall in the future. When the work was being completed, the Stay Dry foreman told me that they only dig down three individual cement blocks. He said they were not going to dig"

"The initial work seemed OK, but it quickly became clear that there was still water leaking through the basement walls. After several phone calls, an employee returned to inspect the walls and agreed that the exterior work needed to be redone. I pointed out that plastic pipes had been left exposed in my yard, without drainage to the street. He agreed that this wasn't acceptable. I called multiple times to set up repairs. My calls were not returned. I obtained the number of Joey, the production manager, spoke with him after several attempts, and sent him detailed texts and photos. No return visit materialized. Over the course of the next several months, I called the company multiple times. They actually visited my home a total of 9 more times, but they showed up without a crew, with one guy and a shovel, or saying they didn't have the equipment for the job. Finally a single employee with a shovel appeared, unscheduled, buried the pipes, and said he corrected the plumbing from the sump pump. Unfortunately, he didn't connect the pipes, and the pop up is 8 feet from my porch. Now a fountain erupts from the drain along side the house, and gallons of water discharge along the basement wall, as well as from the pop up. The soil along the foundation has eroded, and after a rain there is standing water for days in front of my porch. This brand new problem has lead to the interior walls originally water damaged, to become wet again, and a wall that was NEVER even damp before is now soaked, and the dry lock paint has bubbled up. Recently a manager came to look at the situation, and said I would be notified of when the repairs would take place. A couple of weeks later, I called, and managed to get the work scheduled. A crew is to come out June 5th. I however, have ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIDENCE THAT THE WORK WILL BE PROPERLY COMPLETED AND DAMAGE THAT THE COMPANY HAS CAUSED WILL BE REPAIRED. After 18 months of excused, shoddy workmanship, untrained employees that have made matters worse, and now new damage, I am beyond frustrated and angry."

He informed us the foundation was failing and explained what needed to be done. He throughly explained everything and told us how we could do it ourselves for much cheaper than a contractor could do it. In the end he saved us from a long and expensive process if we proceeded with the house."

"Did a great job at the installation. Great call back and showed up on time. The real gem here is a few months later the back flow valve failed. You really know how good a company is when you have a warranty claim and these guys were excellent! Called on a Sunday and they called first thing Monday morning and were here early afternoon to replace the back flow valve failed- under warranty. Great company!"
