Great inspector, had some structural concerns and he came out to inspect quickly after my request, and eased my worries, thanks!!

Wonderful. After a disastrous experience with Cramer Engineering (see that review), Jim Wright came out within a few days of talking with him. He has very thorough, listened to us and asked many questions, took pictures and a copy of our building plans. Within a few days, even with the holiday, provided us with a written report that made sense -- he summarized each issue in detail and provided a recommendation on how to address. This is what we needed to go back to the builder. And even came all the way back over to drop off our building plans to us. We are grateful to Mr. Wright -- just wished we had done our homework better and gone to him in the first place! COVID note - yes, he wore a mask and was very conscious of social distancing while in our home.

I had seen a couple of minor ceiling cracks appear in my home and wanted a professional to assess the house's structural integrity. James was friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. We walked through the house and he was happy to have me point out my concerns, which he immediately addressed one by one. I would highly recommend Western Reserve Home Inspection.

Jim's detailed design was excellent. He made multiple visits to the home to ensure that the design would work. He interacted very effectively with the contractor that he recommended. Jim has excellent professional credentials. His work was completed in detail, on time, at reasonable cost. The beam is in place and working well. Jim and Western Reserve are highly recommended for structural design / engineering work.

He was at our door exactly when he had said he would be, and performed his inspection quickly and provided us with a detailed report the following day.

Jim was very responsive and showed up exactly on time for the inspection. He spent approximately 45 minutes inspecting the house as I wanted to remove two walls between my dininig room and kitchen. His report was sent to me the next evening. The report was very thorough and offered recommendations per the ASCE. I did have a question about the report and Jim promptly responded to my email.

Off the charts. Mr. Wright was great on communication, was on time, very helpful, careful and complete at not only his inspection, but also his explanations. His written report came the next day, detailing the problem and making recommendations for the solution that included many photos showing what needed to be addressed and how best to do it. He knows his beans. Easy guy to talk to and would hire the company again in a heartbeat.Left me feeling relief that at last I had a plan that I could trust.

James was great. He was incredibly thorough on site and in his report. Everything from the foundation to the roof and all mechanical and maintenance items in between. His background as an engineer was very helpful in determining if some of the portions of the home that had settled over the years were continuing issues or not. It was clear he had a lot of experience dealing with 100+ year old homes and was very knowledgable about not only what might be a concern now, but also things to keep an eye on in 5 or 10 years. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone thinking of purchasing an older home that wants a thorough inspection, not just the usual guy their realtor might use. He wasn't the absolute cheapest option out there, but he spent almost 4 hours on site with us going over every aspect of the home and answering any questions we had. His report was even more detailed--offering suggestions and resources for maintenance and cautions to avoid making problems worse. It's like an old home guidebook customized for our home!

Mr. Wright went above and beyond my expectations when it came to giving me pictures and great detail regarding all points in the inspection.  He made suggestions, was not afraid to get "down and dirty" when it came to investigating the roof and basement.  He was on time, polite and professional.   He gave us a very detailed report of each aspect of his inspection along with a summary of what needed to be repaired immediately and why.  I would use this company again in the future.

The provider was contacted on short notice for a structural integrity review.  Initially I left a message for the provider and the provider called back within one hour.  The service was scheduled for two business days later.  The provider show up promptly and identified himself.  Provider verified the requested services and discussed the process and procedure.  The provider thoroughly examined the property making notes and taking pictures.  The provider returned his report within thirty-six hours of the inspection as promised.  The report was complete and well written.  I would definitely recommend this provider and use this provider again.

Mr. Wright was very punctual in his arrival at my mother's house.  He did a structural inspection, due to damage from a long term, slow water leak from the second floor bathroom.  He was very thorough and took pictures. He answered all my questions in a manner that I could understand.  He was very personable.  His final evaluation was written clearly and included pictures taken. He explained in detail what problem areas there were and recommendations for corrections. I was very satisfied with his services and would definitely call him again.
