This company is horrible. Jim Piskac and workers are rude and unprofessional. They represent themselves as Dunkirk Boiler Co. and never once mentioned the name Westfield Heating. This company installed a steam heat boiler for nearly $20,000. The boiler only lasted 3 years due to bad wiring and faulty equipment nearly causing an explosion. They did not honor their warranties nor did they offer help or advice. They simply wanted nearly as much money to "try" to repair. This is even after "servicing" every year in the fall to inspect and turn the system on. They even left the premises with the boiler on to continue to dry fire causing extreme danger to the tenants and office workers. Do not deal with this company. If you come across this company or any of his men run as far away as possible.

Worst experience ever. Showed up early and my tenant wasn't ready for them so they were extremely rude to him. Took the power lines out with a ladder and did not inform the tenant that there were live wires on his car. Did not keep me informed as to anything. Problems and progress. Left the door open all day and lets numerous flies into the house. Left a mess for my tenant to clean up.

My air conditioner was not working properly and I called Westfield to come take a look. I had used them in the past without issue and they charged the normal service call charge around $100. When I called, the woman on the phone told me that I should call the technician directly. I called him on a Friday around noon and left a message. Monday morning I received a return call/message from him. On Tuesday morning we finally spoke and Joe told me he could not make it out that day and asked if tomorrow worked for me. I said, ‘no’ and that I would try to get someone else out that day. He told me to go out to the unit and try something. After I did, he told me that he would either be over that afternoon or 6-7 am the next day. He said that he wouldn’t wake me up and would just check it out and if it was an easy fix, he would just do it and leave a bill. I said ok. The next morning, my phone starts ringing at 6 am and Joe says he is outside. When I get outside there are 2 trucks and 2 men. Joe asked me if we had a 6am appt. He apparently forgot that he said he would just do it without waking me or my daughter. He goes out back and no more than 5 minutes later he knocks on my door to tell me that it is fixed, and he replaced my capacitor. He tells me I owe $295 and asks how I’ll pay. When I say credit card he tells me ‘it’s too early for that’ and asks if I can write him a check. He then tells me to make it out to him directly. I asked him why it was so expensive. He then told me how expensive the part is and how prices have gone up. And that I’m lucky I have a generic AC unit, bc it could have been more. The whole thing didn’t feel right. After Joe left, I looked online and saw that the part ranges from $15-$40 online. I then called 3 other companies and asked what the cost for them to come out and replace a capacitor would be. The prices I got were $165, $166, $125-$185. Then I reached out to my dad who has used Westfield and he told me his girlfriend had the same job done by Westfield last summer for $165. He then said he’d call and talk to Westfield. The woman on the phone relayed a message from the owner saying that his girlfriend was undercharged the previous year. And that they would offer me a $40 refund. When he asked to talk to the owner, they said he would call him back. 5 days later and no call. I was charged $295 for 5 minute repair and a $30 part. Multiple other companies charge roughly $165 for this same repair. They have lost all of my future business. Hopefully I can save some people some money by going with more affordable options.

Excellent industry knowledge, efficient installation, without the over the top sales b.s. Amana brand had better warranties than the bigger players.

The installers were a little late the first day.
The installers overall did a very neat and professional install.
They did get some purple primer on our vinyl floor and on our wall which stained that's why I give them an overall B.
The installers also asked my wife for drinks which seemed rude to her but again no big deal.
The equipment seems to be of good quality and seems to work very well.
They got the work done in two days. not to bad of a time frame.

The installation was fast and smooth. I have not started the unit yet they said that they would return and perform a start-up in the warmer weather. However, the estimate did not match the final price. I called the salesman worked out the price difference. It was a good overall experience with the company.

My experience with them was fine; I was really just trying to find out how much something like this would cost. They had an advertisement that said they would charge $1795 for something like this but when they came out they told me that they didn’t have any more units available at that price; it felt like it was almost a bait and switch. The price was higher than I wanted to spend so I didn’t end up doing the job.

I thought they did a great job! They replaced our furnace quickly and did a good job of explaining everything to us.

It did not go as well as I thought it would for being on Angie's list. The drain pipe was installed incorrectly and had water damage to dining room ceiling. It was corrected in good time and they paid for the new painting on the ceiling. It was a disappointing experience from a company with their reputation.

This company was very good and friendly. They responded to all the concerns that we had. They corrected any discrepancy when they were found. They were prompt and left the work area clean. I would recommend them.

Overall went quite well. They were $1500 and $2500 under the other estimates. I was a little nervous to go with the lowest price, but this stuff isn't rocket science. It is a family owned and operated business - the workers were friendly. I'm going to guess the only difference between what I got from Westfield and the others is that my basement was a mess where they had worked. I'm willing to do a couple hours of cleaning for that kind of money. My only complaint is that when the job was complete they asked if I really wanted it inspected because it just costs them extra money. Cleveland Heights loves to be all up in everyone's business and I didn't want any problems when I go to sell the place, so I said yes. That and I wanted an inspector to give the job the okay. It just bothered me that they tried to not go by the book. Overall, I'd say they are a good value and would recommend them to others. We'll see how well it works in a few weeks. Also worth mentioning is because it was slow season for them, they had the job done in a week after I accepted the bid. That was great.

I was very pleased with their work. They cleaned up well after themselves, and they were very good. I would recommend them to anybody. Their pricing was also very good.

Westfield Heating and Cooling was very prompt in coming out to give me an estimate for a new furnace and A/C. They provided the estimate on the spot and were $750 cheaper than any other estimate I received. When the crew showed up to install the new furnace and AC they did not look like our typical Heating and Cooling company. Most companies wear professional uniforms and etc. These guys showed up in shorts and t-shirts. For the most part the installation went fairly well. However apparently they failed to pull a permit and the inspector showed up. The inspector allowed them to continue working as long as someone pull the permit that day. They had a few issues getting the AC working and they seemed more interested in leaving to beat the 480 traffic than actually fixing the problem. They supposedly fixed the problem and left that day. A few days later I tried using the AC it was only blowing warm air. I had to have them come out again to get it working.

They did the job cleanly, quickly, and competently. Our only problem was the thermostat. They accidently drilled through a heating duct when relocating the thermostat. When we realized what happened, they came out and inspected what was needed to fix the problem. Then they moved the thermostat and patched up the wall and duct work.

Excellent! The owner returned our call quickly and the installation crew came when promised. The crew was great, they cleaned up after themselves and were very helpful. Everyone we dealt with was very courteous and professional.

It was excellent. They were very helpful and extremely punctual. They came and cleaned up. The boss made someone redo something, that was not up to there standards.
