"The valley on my roof was funneling all the water towards a gutter that was too short.  Lance roofing came in, replaced and added the shingles that needed to be replaced and installed a diverter.  Now all the water runs to the gutter like it is supposed to.

"Replace roof on the front of my house, replace flashing around 3 dormer windows and sealed all areas including a new boot for a plumbing vent. Ben was able to diagnose an unexplained leak into a bedroom and resolved it by adding a cap to the vent. House is 100 years old and has a few quirks not present in newer houses. Crew was great and did a perfect clean up. Price was very competitive. Highly recommend 🥰"

Roofing felt is the most common type of roof underlayment, likely because it has been around the longest. It’s called roofing felt because it is often made of felt soaked in asphalt. Depending on the type of roofing a home has, roofing felt comes in different thicknesses.

In most cases, it’s a good idea to remove your old shingles before you install new shingles, especially if you suspect that a roof leak may have compromised the decking underneath.

A chimney liner is typically easier to install by pushing it down through the chimney with the help of a rope. Depending on your fireplace and the type of liner, installing it by pushing it up through the chimney could work, but operating from the top down is usually the best option.
