"The valley on my roof was funneling all the water towards a gutter that was too short.  Lance roofing came in, replaced and added the shingles that needed to be replaced and installed a diverter.  Now all the water runs to the gutter like it is supposed to.

"Replace roof on the front of my house, replace flashing around 3 dormer windows and sealed all areas including a new boot for a plumbing vent. Ben was able to diagnose an unexplained leak into a bedroom and resolved it by adding a cap to the vent. House is 100 years old and has a few quirks not present in newer houses. Crew was great and did a perfect clean up. Price was very competitive. Highly recommend 🥰"

While you technically can add a roof over shakes or shingles, it’s not a good idea. Roofing over existing roofing creates a moisture barrier underneath the new roof and since the trapped material is wood, you can expect a moisture problem. Cool roofs come in a variety of materials, including asphalt, wood, or polymer shingles, clay or concrete tiles, metal, and more.

Condensation can occur on the inside of a roof, but it should always be temporary. It does not necessarily mean there is a roof leak. Condensation happens when the inside and outside of a house are at different temperatures. For instance, if it is hot during the day and then gets very cold at night, the inside of the house will be warmer than the outside and may cause condensation to form on the inside of the attic.
